I put an ai agent inside $99 tello drone from 2018
made it fully autonomous to detect false fire alarm inside the house. no lidar, no obstacle sensor, just some scrappy engineering and an ai model for camera frame analysis
below it is in action, all this with @HrishikeshMB over a weekend

Moved to SF in Jan!
We just closed a $600K order last week at @saafwater.
In the same few weeks, we grew from monitoring 560M → 670M litres of water daily.
Our deployments paid for themselves in 3 months!!
Presenting it all in a few hours at @theresidency Demo Day in SF. Who's coming? 🚀

You're wasting half your context window.
We’re launching @thetokenco (YC W26) today.
We compress LLM inputs before they reach the model.
Fewer tokens, lower cost, faster inference.
Models also perform better. In customer case studies we’ve seen a +5% lift in user purchases due to higher preference for outputs from compressed prompts.

Mom, I’m on TV!!!
From building robots in 4th grade in a remote town in Nepal to pitching @cheforgeai on @meetthedrapers in Silicon Valley! This feels unreal. We are now in the public voting round.
The startup with the most votes goes straight to the Finals and pitch to potentially win $1,000,000 investment from @TimDraper .
If you have supported me before, this is the moment I need you. Voting takes 30 seconds. Anyone with an email can vote.
1) Click the link in the comments 👇👇👇
2) Scroll to the bottom to find Cheforge
3) Enter your email
4) Confirm the code in your email
5) Done!
Your vote could take us to the Finals and help us compete for a $1M investment. Voting ends soon. Let’s do this together. 🚀

6 paid pilots. 2 went live already.
We can now orchestrate actions across water networks once decisions are approved, being installed via a state utility’s instrumentation partner.
Step by step, building the intelligence, automation and decision making layer for water networks.
Building fast. In the open.

Couldn’t agree more.
We moved slow early on, spent over a year just talking to the right people, figuring out why water systems fail and why most devices in our market aren’t reliable.
Got deep into the details, iterated quickly, and within a year of launch now we help monitor water to an entire state, helping them cut chemical use by ~48%.
Non-pedigree, but deeply built 👍
We've successfully backed multiple non-pedigree founders. A new team that I worked with for a while now might beat them all it feels like if I look at the sheer pace of calm learning loops they have.
Nothing...literally nothing can replace slow and thoughtful building in the earliest days - the first 12-18 months. And I can see it in them vividly. AND, I saw the opposite in many teams who ran too fast too soon and had to go through expensive course correction.
Go slow in the first 12 months to go super fast later - very few who want to listen to this in 2025's to-the-moon-in-90-days culture :)

A founder friend just told me
“Jobs would be happy looking at your product.”
I don’t know about that, but we’re trying to build with that level of precision, engineering and care.

We just got an inbound from an investor, from one of the least expected places - Instagram.
He messaged over the weekend, we spoke today, and damn, he got @saafwater. We had a great conversation..

Learnt in school that as temperature increases, water’s ability to dissolve gases decreases.
Wonder how climate change would disrupt aquaculture, water monitoring is wayy important to them now..

Momentum continues to build. We're already looking to deploy our current model for sewage treatment plants with the same company.
Another major water treatment company with a market cap of over $100M is also looking to partner with Saafwater on #ProjectMiramar and our solutions for distribution and water network monitoring throughout India and beyond.
We've been receiving Lols from across the water treatment, automation and monitoring space. Onwards and upwards 🙌🏻

Still, among all that noise, we made it to our first VC technical call this week.

We just built a turbidity sensor from scratch, turning a bulky, multi-component setup into a single inline sensor!!!!
Just for context: this is how @saafwater’s new turbidity sensor looks like in comparison to other turbidity sensors in the market.
