This picture has a chess vibe.
Yesterday
One of those events where they don’t update the results. So no one will ever know what happened in the last round.
On the route is the location where Millais painted Ophelia. He camped there for five months, working 11 hours a day, age 22.
Strictly speaking he only painted the river and the natural background there, in 1851. He added Ophelia in in 1852, using Elizabeth Siddons as his model.
No chess today, and the weather was fine. So I did the Hogsmill River Walk, from Bourne Hall in Ewell where it rises to near Kingston Bridge where it flows into the Thames.
Very very interesting and enjoyable.

Schrödinger’s Chess: A chess game is both relaxing and stressful until the result is observed.
England can lose a game from any position. Pakistan win after being dead and buried.
Entertaining though.

All out for 241 in the 47th over.
Not good. Especially as we couldn’t defend 429 in the last game.
Mind you, England’s bowlers owe the team something.

Curran batted well but goes for 42. 145-5 after 27 overs.
We are really struggling here.
