Happy New Year everyone! Reminder that 2026 is the 250th anniversary of our democracy. We've got a lot of work to do leading up to Election Day this year, BUT that also means that we've got some great things ahead of us!

The President of the United States has a loose grip on the law and an even looser grip on reality.
As I’ve said many times, the only election Donald Trump recognizes as valid is one where he wins.
There is no widespread voter fraud. The federal government has no right to interfere in California’s elections.

Voting is better together, so bring a friend or family member and enjoy casting your ballot together! 🙌🥳
In LA County, you can vote at ANY Vote Center across the county, which means you're not limited to your neighborhood.

I joined community leaders to say No on Prop 39. It would make it harder for Californians to vote, and that hurts every community: students, seniors, working families, and women fighting to protect their reproductive health care.

Have a happy and safe Halloween everybody! 🎃

Don’t boo, vote!
There’s nothing scarier than not voting. Enjoy Halloween, but make sure you have a plan to vote on November 3rd.
Last night in LA, an ICE agent put a gun to the head of a bystander just WATCHING an immigration enforcement operation. This is why everyone EVERYWHERE needs to vote.
Don't say anything about House Dems not holding Trump accountable if you don't vote. latimes.com/california/story…

TO ELECTION OFFICIALS: STAND YOUR GROUND
Thank you for doing your job to ensure every eligible vote is counted. The courts are upholding the rule of law. Don't be intimidated by threats from the Trump Administration—the law is on your side.

Very appropriately so— which is Trump’s THIRD straight loss in his desperate effort to intimidate voters and interfere with our safe secure, accurate, and reliable elections in California
As a repeat offender, Trump is a repeat loser in court
The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday rejected the Justice Department’s request for California to set aside disputed ballots received in the midterm election. kcra.com/article/appeals-cou…

Your votes are powerful – that’s why Trump and his MAGA allies are trying to stop them. Don’t let them. VOTE!
Don’t misquote me
I didn’t say “garbage”
I called your data “trash,” “unreliable,” “inaccurate,” and “amateur hour”
A very “accurate” description
Remember Nevada? No? Trump came out guns blazing with bold assertions that 15,903 registered voters were non-citizens based on “high confidence” matches. But then 15,903 became 6,218 became 185 became zero. ZERO. Womp womp
And what happened to the nearly 200,000 voters in CA you “believed” were “likely” ineligible that all of a sudden became …. 28 (.0001% of CA’s 23M voters). Fizzle
A federal court just called your data “not credible”
Forgive me, I call it trash
Rob Bonta calls our list of noncitizens “garbage.” He should check his own voter rolls, which are inaccurate and full of ineligible voters.
At least 20,000 suspected noncitizens are registered to vote in California. We have the receipts and presented them in court. Americans deserve to have their votes counted equally.

This election is our last chance to at least rein in some of the foolishness of this Administration.
We need real leadership with concrete plans to lower costs, make health care more affordable, make housing more affordable, and get utility bills under control.
Let’s do what we can to make @KeishaBottoms the next Governor of Georgia. Let’s go send Jon @Ossoff back to the Senate. And let’s put this country back on the path to a better future.
