The Islamic Republic that entered 2026 still had a supreme leader, a working missile force, an air force, a navy, oil revenue, a civil aviation network, and a regional axis that could still move men and weapons through Syria and Iraq. Today, that structure is gone.
Khamenei is dead. His successor is a piece of cardboard. Most commanders who sat around him on 28 February are dead. Air defences, radar, ships and mine-layers have been hit again and again. The regime's attempt to close Hormuz was answered with a blockade that now lets all oil through except Iranian. Exports are near 0. Flights anywhere outside the country, even Iraq have been cut. The rial has collapsed to record lows. Free nations are sanctioning whatever is left of the IRGC, expelling diplomats, and severing diplomatic relations. Assad is long gone, Maduro is gone, Hamas has been turned into dust, Hezbollah is fighting for its own survival, and Trump is pressuring China to stop bankrolling the mullahs.
What remains is a wounded, terrified leadership, a shrinking treasury, nothing left to even fight for, and a populace driven to explosive radicalization by this year's crackdown, ready to take the country back at the right moment, and rallied entirely around the leader of free Iran, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi.
The islamic regime is no longer viable. They will not survive. We're going to take everything back. We're going to win 🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷

هفتم آبان، روز بزرگداشت کوروش بزرگ، روز پاسداشت شکوه ایران و ارزش‌های دیرپای آزادی، رواداری و دادگری است که ملت ما در گذر سده‌ها آنها را زنده داشته است.
نام و کارنامه کوروش برای ما تنها یادآور شکوه گذشته نیست بلکه صخره‌ای استوار و سکوی پرشی است برای دستیابی به آینده‌ای بهتر، آینده‌ای که به گواهی تاریخ پرشکوه‌مان سزاوار آنیم.

جمهوری اسلامی امروز دیگر آن رژیمی نیست که یک سال پیش بر ایران حکومت می‌کرد. این رژیم اکنون ضعیف‌تر از هر زمان دیگری است و رهبرِ مفقود و دیگر سرکردگان آن، بیش از هر چیز از قدرت ملت ایران هراس دارند؛ از یک خیزش سراسری و مؤثر که به عمر این رژیم شیطانی پایان دهد.

This was the last photo taken of Nahal at home before she went on the street and Islamic Republic forces answered her with bullets.
She was only 13 years old.
A completely ordinary photo taken inside her family’s house before she walked out the door.
She never came back.
She missed her whole life ahead of her.
First days of high school. Birthdays. Graduation. University. A first job. A whole adulthood nobody had even met yet.
And the caption underneath it is almost unbearable:
“My sister’s 13 year old daughter, the last photo taken of her at home.”
I kept trying to find more about Nahal.
There is still painfully little publicly about her.
But now there is this.
A 13 years old girl was killed by the Islamic Republic forces.
Her name was Nahal Jafari.

After 7 October 2023, when Hamas massacred Israeli civilians and took hostages, Emmanuel Macron urged Israel to exercise restraint and called for a ceasefire. Then, when the islamic republic massacred tens of thousands of Iranians in January 2026, he once again called for restraint as the US and Israel attacked the regime.
Western Europe's pacifism is a fundamental weakness. Rather than confronting the threats posed by terrorists, European leaders repeatedly call for restraint, hoping diplomacy alone will resolve the problem. This is like demanding a ceasefire and diplomatic negotiations between Nazi Germany and the Free French while France remained under German occupation, expecting those resisting tyranny to lay down their arms and negotiate with the very regime oppressing them. Macron fails to understand that you don't deter terrorists by pleading with them, nor neutralise murderous regimes by rewarding their aggression with concessions.
Western Europe must understand that refusing to confront those who threaten peace does not make them disappear. Peace is worth defending, but without the willingness to confront those who seek to destroy it, diplomacy becomes little more than surrender.
