Today, we proudly commemorate Cyrus the Great Day, a day of profound national significance for Iranians everywhere and a powerful tribute to one of the greatest figures in our history. To the Iranian people, the day is a reminder that Iran is a nation of thousands of years, with a heritage that the islamists cannot erase, no matter how hard they try. Monarchy is woven into the very fabric of our national identity, from the great kings of ancient Persia to the Pahlavi dynasty, representing a historic tradition of sovereignty, continuity and national pride. Whatever hardships our beloved homeland faces today, the spirit of Iran lives on in the hearts of our people. We are heirs to a magnificent history, and we have a responsibility to preserve its memory and restore the glory and greatness our nation deserves. The eternal flame of Persian civilisation will never be extinguished. Cyrus the Great will stand forever as a symbol of Iranian pride, sovereignty and national unity.
