During Ambassador Byrne Nason’s visit, we hosted a series of discussions with @GaSecofState Brad Raffensperger, @JoshMcKoon and @staceyabrams.
The meetings offered valuable insights into Georgia’s political landscape, current priorities & the wider US political environment.

Highlights from the second half of the day included:
- A meeting with Mayor @andreforatlanta at City Hall to discuss Atlanta’s continued growth & development, & the city’s priorities for the future.
A visit to @TheKingCenter & Ebenezer Baptist Church offered a chance to reflect on Atlanta’s role in the Civil Rights Movement.
Concluding with a reception @CarterLibrary co-hosted with @EUintheUS, celebrating European partnership, diplomacy & the EU Ambassadors Book Collection

A moving visit to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park and historic Ebenezer Baptist Church. Standing in a place so central to the civil rights movement was a powerful promise of the enduring global importance of dignity, equality, and justice.

Starting with meetings at the @atlchamber, discussing EU-Georgia economic ties, with Ambassador Byrne Nason joining a panel discussion.
