💙 Behind Every Successful Operation Is an Exceptional Team Every successful operation relies on dedicated professionals working together to provide the best possible care for our patients. Today, we would like to recognise our Operating Department Practitioners and especially thank Felix Jose Vega, Pili Vega and Bashkim Maksuti for their expertise, reliability and commitment to our team. As Felix and Pili begin their well-deserved retirement, we would like to thank them for their many years of dedication and the important contribution they have made to @ThoracicZurich at the @Unispital_USZ . Your experience, support and positive spirit will certainly be missed. And to Bashkim Maksuti: thank you for your continued dedication and for being such a valued part of our team. Felix and Pili, we wish you all the very best for this new chapter, and above all, plenty of time to enjoy it! 💙 #ThoracicSurgery #OperatingRoom #Teamwork #PatientCare #Retirement #UniversityHospitalZurich #OperatingDepartmentPractitioner

🫁 New AATS Expert Consensus Document on N2+ NSCLC It was a pleasure and great learning to contribute to the 2026 @AATSHQ Expert Consensus Document on the evaluation and management of N2+ non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) under the leadership of Philip Linden and Thomas D'Amico. The management of N2-positive NSCLC remains one of the most complex areas in thoracic oncology! This new consensus document provides updated recommendations on staging, patient selection and treatment strategies, highlighting the importance of multidisciplinary decision-making and close collaboration across specialties. 🤝🫁 Many thanks to the @AATSHQ and all colleagues involved in this collaborative effort.
