You'd see more chatter surrounding this if the GM didn't have the owner's unwavering backing. People are saving their breath.
Lots of chatter about changes needed including letting the coach go, how about we let the GM go so they can hire or keep the coach. This is a low end hockey team and that falls on the GM not the coach. #NHLJets
I do not care for Arniel. Mickey Mouse coach IMO. I also don’t think he’s to blame for this; he’s a good enough scapegoat for them when a head inevitably needs to roll
Quite funny that he has this rep as being “negative for the sake of it”, as the team’s descent steadily continues and plunges down in flames.

I also wouldn’t expect the team to improve though. The split is long overdue and worth a shot, but this roster is COOKED.
Everyone remembers that Freese tied the game in the 9th when STL were down to their last strike. But what's forgotten is Josh Hamilton promptly hit a devastating 2 run HR in the 10th.
STL were down to their last strike AGAIN in the 10th, and Berkman tied it up w/ an RBI single.

Down to their last strike in Game 6 of the World Series, he delivered a game-tying 2-run triple and followed that up with an 11th-inning walk-off home run to send the series to a Game 7. The @Cardinals would go on to become World Series champions!
