A great contribution, well done Shania! And, I echo her thanks to great collaborators (who collected and were generous with the data)!
Excited to share that the manuscript from my thesis has made it to publication! Huge thanks to @AndreasHeissel and @StephanHeinzel for allowing me to work with this data and @JMeyer37 for great mentorship throughout. Check it out here:

Had a great time chatting mindfulness, psychotherapy, and science with Daniel Cox on his @TheAPPod! Somehow he's able to make zoom feel like a cozy couch on a screened in porch.

🚨JOB UPDATE!🚨 1/ I have joined the faculty at UW-Madison as an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology. My research program investigating the psychological effects of movement-based interventions will transition to UW with research staff openings over the coming year.
3/ My lab will continue to focus on the psychobiology of exercise, specifically on developing/testing interventions for improving mental health conditions, as in our ongoing NIH-funded trials. This includes mechanistic clinical trials with clear translational outcomes.

An amazing opportunity to connect with the international Lifestyle Psychiatry network. Sad I won’t be at this one, but can’t wait to be first in line for next year. Well done to the organizers for making this happen! 👏
Looking forward to the launch of @LifePsych_ next week:
3 days of Lifestyle Medicine for Mental Health; exchanging ideas, building networks and sharing research in Mallorca, Spain.

loved being at #ACSM24 to talk about our work on physical activity and depression in this symposium with @ChadRethorst @JMeyer37 @jratey @karmelchoi. Very exciting to see where the field goes next - take-home messages: 1) more large trials (Phase 3) and 2) more mechanisms needed!
