Look...we'll slice bagels how ever we darn well please. We'll put whatever type of cheese we want on our pizza. We'll slice pork butt into steaks. We'll bake a cake consisting mainly of butter and sugar...and you better believe my friends we will deep fry a ravioli.

It should not need to be explained that Catholics who commit crimes should still have access to the Sacraments…especially the Sacrament of Reconciliation so that they can they partake in the Eucharist.
But it does need to be explained because political rot is real and present

I invite everyone to pray for father Chris, pictured here.
His church offers 4 to 5 hours of confessions a week, at least one of them does. I didn’t check the other.
But now, because someone’s politics got hurt, he is slandered
Now, his office will be inundated with calls from awful, awful people.
Some of them will be genuinely crazy.
His life is going to be very very difficult for the next two weeks until we move onto the next outrage our political masters direct us toward.
I invite everyone who sees this to pray for that Priest. Pray that God protect him and encourage him.

Acts of the Apostles would make for pretty good TV and would need less fluff for dramatic purposes.
Instead of all the Jesus movies, they should make a super suspenseful TV series about Early Christians, with all the hiding, secret gatherings, persecution, counterculture, fish signs, samizdat scriptures, show trials, existential level theology debates, dumb evil myopic emperors, genius letters, upside down crucifixions, lions eating virgins in arenas, etc. -- and it would be super relevant for how culture evades, evolves, spreads and transforms today.

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

It’s quite shocking to see how many people think it’s ok to end the life of a fellow human being.
Violence begets violence.
Abortion is not medical care.
The death penalty is not a deterrent.
Euthanasia is sub-human.
