So Mamdani has known for about 24 hours that the ethnic enclaves map left off Little Italy, Irish, and Jewish neighbors and others, and heard people condemning him for it. Then he decided to allow them to continue to do so, for 24 hours; that is denounce him in the strongest terms. Why? In order to make them look like fools for doing so. He should have cleared it up within an hour of finding out about it! Instead, he allowed them to feel mistreated and say so, allowed ethic organizations to issue statements, people to make videos denouncing him - in order to enjoy felling of smug superiority, and then waited to be asked by a repoter about it - so he could serve up the "gotcha".
