Even as far as kept him from having better moving cybernetic limbs😭
It is so hard to explain to Gen X parents that they are the dream deferred generation. They get upset at you for telling the truth when they should be upset at the people who put them there.
Most of their grandparents and some of their parents got to get married, start a family really young, buy a house. And then when it came time for Gen X to do the same, they usually got 2/3 of those things and had to wait for the last 1/3 to come around later in life.
Funnily enough Anakin only joined palpatine because he was promised a way to keep his loved ones from dying. He actually hated the sith and thought the jedi were too conflicting with their dogma. Palpatine used anakins hope and desperation to corner him to be under his thumb.
Funnily enough until the Rise of Skywalker. People thought palpatine was just lying to anakin. But in reality he wasnt. He was just hiding the secret for himself. Keeping anakin on the hook until he couldn’t take it anymore. This is literally the living experience of zoomers now
