Introducing 🐦 Pattern Pigeon: A conversational assistant built with @googlecloud #DialogflowCX to teach software architecture design patterns! This was a lot of fun to create, and for a (probably) limited time you can even call it!

I’ve been researching @googlecloud #DialogflowCX to build a conversational agent, and while looking into community-favored licenses, I was surprised to see so many repositories using the Apache License 2.0 over my go-to MIT—so I’m switching it up! Excited to share more soon 🐦💬
You will find a specimen of this license on the Copyleft Attitude site (artlibre.org/licence/lal/en/) as well as on other sites (commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/C…).

Emojis, border, and the ASF feather logo added by me. To use the ASF feather logo in further derivatives, you must comply with the Apache Software Foundation Trademark Policy, which you can find at apache.org/foundation/marks/.

Today, Georgia Tech is dispersing a third official mascot for the Institue — the Fightin' Pollen. This new identity will blanket campus, Atlanta, and the entire state of Georgia. 🤧 #SneezeEm #TogetherWeSniffle #WeAreAllFightinPollen | c.gatech.edu/4jcY5UQ
Meet Paul Lenny — the first-ever Fightin' Pollen. He will stick with Buzz and drape himself on the Ramblin' Wreck this spring.
Additionally, a group of student engineers known as 'The Pollinators' has designed a mechanism that will release pollen mist into the crowd after a Georgia Tech score.
As of today — across campus — we are all Fightin' Pollen!

“Turning off” this bill before consideration would squash the effort by @RepPettersen and @RepSaraJacobs to make voting easier for new parents.
Speaker Johnson is going to extreme lengths to stop this resolution before hitting the floor. Urging the Committee to reconsider.
The house gop leadership is still planning to use the rules committee today to “turn off” @realannapaulina’s discharge petition to allow proxy voting for new and expectant mothers.
Meeting is at 4p. Needs to get thru the committee as part of the rule and then pass on the house floor.

I’m back in DC with Sam to demand that Speaker Johnson hold a vote on our bipartisan resolution to allow new moms and dads to vote remotely while caring for their newborns.
Speaker Johnson himself has voted remotely 39 times—but now he’s pulling every trick in the book to stop our resolution.
New parents shouldn’t be blocked from doing their jobs just because they’re starting a family.
We’re going to keep fighting until we get this done.

Just dove headfirst into #nextjs and honestly? It's incredible. Probably the smoothest SSG generator I've ever used, and less quirky than some others!
Right now, I'm building the foundation for a team website for my project-based CS class: thatrobotdev.github.io/cs-23… 😄
It looks pretty ugly right now, but I've got React Bootstrap, React Icons, and @fontawesome icons (for the elusive @bluesky icon) working!
Plus, setting up automatic builds on GitHub Pages was not bad at all.
#react #reacticons #bootstrap #reactbootstrap
On top of that, this marks repo #97/100 on @GitHub! Might be time to consolidate and clean up some old repos, but it's a huge milestone for me! 🚀
That's it for now, take care!
