Grumpy twat that does not understand wtf is going on. If you use pronouns, we probably won’t get along. Fairly sure we won’t survive 4 years of Labour.

WTF? A Prime Minister who has never run a business in his life demands answers because a private business fails? … let me help you, Andy & co. A retail chain needs to stay in fashion, needs to go with the flow! … But you and successive governments don’t like their “tat” products (mostly sourced off shore to sell them at £1!!! That the whole point right?) anyway… for free (without a taxpayer funded £MULTIMILLION enquiry I’ll tell you the problems… (you’re welcome) ▪️massively increased regulations and compliance costs. ▪️cheap tat sourced from abroad, with rising shipping and transport costs. ▪️Hit by increased minimum wages and employer National Insurance. ▪️Hit by rising rents and business rates. ▪️Hit by soaring energy bills and net zero costs. ▪️Hit by higher interest rates. ▪️Hit by consumers with less disposable income. ▪️Hit by the soaring cost of borrowing to buy stock months in advance. ▪️Hit by higher insurance premiums. ▪️Hit by shoplifting, organised theft and security costs. ▪️Hit by packaging taxes, recycling regulations and environmental compliance costs.( which you just throw into general taxation, non of it changes the weather) ▪️Hit by higher fuel, warehousing and distribution costs. ▪️Hit by increased employment costs, pensions and statutory obligations. ▪️Hit by competition from overseas online retailers operating with very different overheads.( duty free … for foreign businesses oops) ▪️And hit by the impossibility of passing those costs onto customers, who shop at Poundland precisely because they need cheap stuff! … which isn’t cheap anymore (see above) Every single time you add something on … so do they! And the idiot, deluded politicians who have made Britain more and more expensive and difficult to do business in, are demanding to know why businesses are struggling? You are all moronic. My work here is done 🤡

As a veteran, I wear a poppy to honour the fallen. All of them. Gay or straight, their sacrifice deserves the same respect. To me, that red represents blood spilled. We all bleed red. The poppy doesn’t ask about anyone’s sexuality before remembering them, so why does it need an ideological flag attached? This isn’t an objection to gay people. Gay servicemen and women belong in our remembrance because they served and sacrificed—not because somebody added a flag to a badge. I’m sick of the pandering and the apparent need to put an identity label on everything. The poppy already includes everyone. Stop treating it as though it needs a bloody amendment. You risk dividing the very people you say you want to bring together. I want to honour the fallen. I care that they served, what they endured and what they gave. I don’t care who they fucked. I care that they never came home.

Who needs enemies when you’ve got allies? France and Germany competing to sell Argentina three new submarines. Denmark selling them F-16s. The Americans approving a potential package of equipment and support. Lovely. Always reassuring when your mates help restock the military of a country that still claims your islands. Presumably the next defence summit comes with a catalogue and a fucking discount code. To be clear, the submarine proposals aren’t signed contracts. But the fact they’re on the table is quite enough to piss me off. “We haven’t sold them yet” isn’t exactly the declaration of friendship I was hoping for. And Andy Pandy Burnham seems desperate to jump back into bed with the EU. Before anyone starts fluffing the continental pillows, perhaps we could establish what Britain actually gets out of these wonderful relationships beyond a handshake, a group photograph and an invoice. Because from where I’m standing, the UK is increasingly looked on with contempt. We’re still trying to act like a big player while successive governments have run this country into the ground—and had the brass neck to do it on the global stage. We turn up talking about influence and leadership while everyone else appears to be wondering whether our card’s going to decline when the bill arrives. We’ve got the posture of a superpower and the bargaining position of a bloke trying to return a toaster without a receipt. And those of us who remember the Falklands War have every right to be livid about this. British servicemen died. Others came home carrying injuries and memories they would live with for the rest of their lives. Families paid a price that doesn’t disappear because there’s now a lucrative export opportunity. You’d think that history might warrant a slightly more awkward conversation among our supposed friends before someone starts measuring Argentina up for a new submarine fleet. Apparently “close ally” comes with terms and conditions. Friendship subject to availability. Loyalty excluded where a profitable order can be secured. And what do I want from our government? A bit of bloody backbone. Ask the awkward questions. Make our objections clear. Stop treating every diplomatic relationship like we should be grateful we’ve been invited. We don’t need another solemn photograph of politicians standing shoulder to shoulder if nobody’s prepared to explain what that friendship is actually worth. I’m sick of watching Britain talked down to while our leaders grin like they’ve won a competition to visit the building. The Falkland Islanders’ future is theirs to decide. Their home isn’t a bargaining chip, and the people who fought for them aren’t an inconvenient footnote beneath somebody else’s sales figures. We can cooperate with allies and still tell them when they’re taking the piss. Being British shouldn’t mean standing politely in the queue while our supposed mates sell the bloody queue-jumping equipment.

One of those "I wish I'd posted this" posts. It's exactly right. The EU is the perfect manifestation. That's why the people in power, of every stripe, have done their damndest to ensure we never really leave its malign sphere of influence.
Why I'm optimistic 👇 For twelve years I've been banging on about this and now people are finally seeing it, evolving communism, cultural Marxism or whatever label you choose, it's all the same. The EU was never just about trade. It's a communist style structure. Centralised control. Unelected people at the top telling elected people at the bottom what they can do. You vote one way, they ignore you, and carry on anyway. How many times have we seen that? People ask how did we get here? It didn't happen overnight. It's generational. Go back to the sixties. You had all those left wing students demonstrating. CND, sit-ins, banners, shouting down anyone who disagreed. At the time we thought it was just students being students. Those indoctrinated students? They became the professors. They became the teachers, the lecturers, the BBC producers, the civil servants, the judges, the Archbishops, the people running the charities. The EU commission, NATO bosses, NGOs, UN officials etc And they taught the next generation. And that generation taught the next one. That's three generations now. There is a famous saying from the German student leader Rudi Dutschke. He talked about t The Long March through the institutions. And that's exactly what happened. You don't need to attack a public building with violence . That's too obvious. You just need to attack all the things within it. You attack the family - tell people the family is outdated, that mothers shouldn't be at home, that children belong to the state. You create such a costly environment, where buying bricks and mortar is impossible, a family today can't but a house with two wages, that keeps the mother at work, the child in third party hands for 8 hours a day in formative years. The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world, who's rocking your cradle. You attack the church - tell people faith is bigotry, close the churches, laugh at Christians while protecting religions with very like-minded controlling doctrines. You attack the schools - stop teaching history properly, stop teaching right from wrong, teach children to be ashamed of their own country. Encourage people not to work, to be dependent on the state. If the state controls you're income, it controls what you spend it on . You can never get out, or grow. You attack law and borders - tell people that a country that controls its border is racist. By the time you have done all that, you still have the same buildings - Parliament, the courts, the schools, the churches - but they mean something completely different. They have been hollowed out from the inside. That is what the EU is. It's the perfect vehicle for it. Laws made far away, that you can't vote out, that overrule your own courts and your own Parliament. It's control by committee. That's not democracy. That's communism by another name. Even worse quangos that control the news you see, the products you buy, the food you eat. Additives that benefit a few fed to the whole Nation despite health issues I voted Brexit because I saw it. A lot of us did. Some places voted 70% for less immigration and for control back, and we were told we were wrong. But now with AI we can look it up ourselves. We don't have to take their word for it anymore. We can follow the money, see who funds what, who sits on what board, and we can share it with each other. They can't hide it anymore, Musk opened The Twitter Files and showed the world what's really going on, we've information is power we have direct access to it and have grown in strength. Their Long March has been uninterrupted for decades, be patient, keep talking , keep sharing, they'll never reach the finish line. That's why I'm optimistic ❤️ .

209 years ago today, Britain ARMED an African king. 🇬🇧 Muskets. Gunpowder. Ten thousand gun flints. Four hundred red coats. 💂 British sergeants to train his army. A salary in gold and silver, every year. 💰 Britain wanted him to win. 👑 Valley after valley. Chief after chief. Until two-thirds of Madagascar was under his rule. 🗺️ On purpose. 👀 Why? 🤔 Because on that island, chiefs raided villages and sold the people. To French slave ships. To Arab dhows. To other African kingdoms. ⛓️ Then they bought guns with the money. To raid more villages. 🔥 Guns for people. People for guns. 🔁 Britain had banned its own slave trade in 1807. But it couldn’t guard every beach on an island nearly a thousand miles long. 🌊 So a sergeant from Cork travelled 28 days, by canoe and on foot, to reach the king. 🛶 For two months they bargained. Then he made an offer nobody had authorised. 🤝 Every gun the slave trade gave the king, Britain would give him free. If he stopped selling people. ✋ On 23 October 1817, the king signed. Selling his people abroad would be punished by death. ✍️ Then Britain helped him take the island. Port after port, every one closed to the slave ships. ⚓ They teach you Britain profited from slavery. 📚 They never teach you how we got them to stop selling their own people. 🤫 Britain armed an African king. On purpose. 🇬🇧 Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

Europe's Muslim population was ~37M before 2000 and is projected to hit 58M by 2030. Accounting for roughly 6% of the European population in 2011, Muslims are expected to represent about 8% by 2030. pewresearch.org/religion/2011/… soerenkern.com/pdfs/islam/Mus…
