Learning to debate is a real skill and we need to intentionally learn how to debate. The most important thing is placing things in their exact categories. It’s either you people are always using a false equivalence or a fallacy of equivocation.
Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

Or, and hear me out here… we shouldn’t act like we’re smarter than everyone that came before us.
You set up a false dichotomy.
Danny claims to be “Reformed,” but listen to Jerome Zanchi (major 17th century Reformed divine) respond to this sort of errant thinking:
“14. The faithful interpretations of the devout and learned should not be condemned.
Indeed, although the Holy Scriptures are perspicuous in those things that are necessary for salvation, we nevertheless do not reject the interpretations and explications of devout men who are both learned and skillful, whether they are ancient or more recent, namely, their interpretations and explanations that are pursued on the basis of those same Holy Scriptures and insofar as the Scriptures are explained by the Scriptures and in accordance with the first foundations of faith (1 Thess. 5:21). The sum of these contained in the Apostles’ Creed as well as in the creeds of the truly ancient and holy ecumenical councils convened against prominent heretics.”—Jerome Zanchi; Confession of the Christian Religion (RHB Publishing; 2025), p. 49

This app is dead for me.
All the apologetics slop and interdenominational squabbling has long been boring, I ignore most political stuff, and lately there seems little worthwhile to engage with.

NEW article relevant to recent fights with the Orthobros. After this, those of their camp who refuse to recant their heresy on this will simply be showing how hard their hearts are. The evidence from their own tradition is plain and unambiguous.

Alright, let's cut the nonsense.
@Nicholai_Korea, I would be more than happy to set up a debate with you on PSA. No mute buttons. You can have plenty of time to make an opening statement, rebuttals, and arguments (as would I). If you're so confident on this topic in which you have argued against the Reformed, surely you'd be willing to defend it further?
Interested? I already know several people who would be willing to moderate. Everyone retweet this!

Replying to @JayDyer
@JayDyer , What happened to the debate we agreed to set up? You accuse us of running away, and then pull this type of nonsense against us. This isn't even just a thing with Protestants btw. The Orthobros have acted this way against the Roman camp for a while now.
They know ultimately that they are fundamentally dishonest people and have to resort to this whenever anyone would give them a taste of their own medicine. Since they hide behind an ignorant audience of those who often are still in the catechumenate of the EO "church", they know they can get away with it.
I did a whole examination of the most popular arguments used against PSA here, especially with regard to the necessity of satisfaction. Instead of giving serious engagement with any of this, the Orthobros haven't even bothered to attempt a response (because they know that they can't).
When @ErickYbarra3 put out his book on the topic recently, a lot of them simply published negative reviews of it after only reading the introduction lol, or simply attempted to redefine PSA into oblivion so that they can escape the very clear and unambiguous testimonies of the Fathers and even their own post-1054 saints.
"But let us remember, sinners: if the justice of God did not spare even His Son, but subjected Him to the torments of hell, will it spare us if we despise the Blood of the Covenant, and disdain all that was so dearly purchased for us by our Redeemer?" - Macarius of Moscow.
"He was abandoned by His Father and given over to all the Justice of God, like the most terrible sinner, as an intercessor who took upon Himself all the sins of all men." –Innocent of Alaska
If these quotes were from Calvin or Vermigli, they would be chomping at the bit, and they know it.

Believers have no moral right to lament against wicked politicians who selfishly use the country's resources to fund their lavish lifestyles as long as we are comfortable hearing and celebrating preachers who do the same in the name of God.
We are simply not serious.
Acclaimed mature Christians will still attend "big conferences" where preachers who rate mammon over Christ will hold the microphone and be treated as pulpit superstars.
Even politicians are gradually facing the repercussions of flaunting wealth in the midst of an overwhelmingly impoverished nation, but there seems to be no consequence whatsoever for preachers who consistently mock God and the poor in their quest to teach the wretched doctrine of Balaam.
We are not serious yet!

Hate to be on this part of Twitter, but this reminds me of my Undergraduate Thesis—“Spectrophotometric analysis and quality evaluation of Amlodipine tablet formulations”.
I investigated 6 commercial brands of amlodipine, comparing them to the innovator brand, Norvasc.
