“The brutality, mistreatment, or torture has ever forced me to ask for grace, for I prefer to die with my head high, my faith unshakable, and my confidence profound in the destiny of my country, rather than live in submission and scorn of sacred principles. Patrice Lumumba.”

Shakira paid Spain an $8 million fine and took a 3-year suspended sentence to end a $15 million tax case, after prosecutors asked for 8 years in prison. Their proof she lived there was Gerard Piqué, the boyfriend she later wrote a breakup diss about. Now a Spanish court has ordered the tax office to give her back $64 million. 8 times the fine she paid, because Spain came up 20 days short. In the video below, Shakira explains why women have spent too long hiding their pain, even in front of their own kids. She met Piqué filming the 2010 World Cup song. They had two sons and lived in Barcelona. Spain said she owed tax for 2012 to 2014. Her side said she was touring the world and wasn't a resident. On top of prison, prosecutors asked for a $26 million fine. The tax office went through her social media posts to count the days she spent in the country. In June 2022 she and Piqué split. Piqué had paid his own tax fraud fine back in 2019. In November 2023, on the first day of her trial, she took the deal. "I need to move past the stress and emotional toll of the last several years." She had already moved to Miami with her boys. Then came the 2011 case. Spain had charged her more than $64 million in tax and penalties for that year, again pointing to her relationship with Piqué. In May a national court ruled the tax office could only prove 163 days in Spain. The legal line is 183. Spain has to pay it all back with interest, unless it wins an appeal. "There was never any fraud," she said. This fall she's back in Spain. For a concert residency in Madrid. Spain used her love life as evidence. Now that evidence could cost Spain $64 million. Did Shakira beat the tax office, or did she pay for the years they could prove?

If sex is a big deal to you, stay OFF marriage. For men, sex is not just sex, it's FOOD. We don't just run to it when we're horny. We run to it when we're sad, depressed, had a bad day, failed an exam, lost a contract. Sex is how a man resets. For women it's emotional, for men it's existential. Completely different operating systems. So if as a woman you don't see your body as belonging to your husband, as his peace, his fuel, his refuge - DO NOT get married. Because he will need you ANYTIME, not just SOMETIME.
Sexual responsibility in marriage doesn’t make a wife’s body her husband’s property. It means she can’t write off their erotic life and then insist she’s neglected nothing that matters.

They invited her to Berlin thinking she would praise them. Instead, she exposed their blood-soaked history. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie didn't hold back. She exposed the ultimate Western lie. They teach their kids to "help the poor Africans," but completely erase the fact that Belgium’s King Leopold turned the Congo into a personal slaughterhouse. Millions murdered. Hands chopped off for rubber. They don't teach the truth because the truth is a debt they can never repay. Watch this. Bookmark it. Teach your children who the real savages were.

Dennis Rodman says Madonna offered him $20 MILLION to get her pregnant - and sent a private jet when she was ovulating. 💀 He was gambling in Vegas when she called from New York. According to Rodman, he told the casino to hold his table, flew to her house, then flew BACK and carried on gambling. “She asked me if I got her pregnant she’d pay me $20 million.” The condition? The baby had to be born. He told the whole story on The Breakfast Club.

Toto Wolff reveals he and Lewis Hamilton stopped speaking for weeks after Nico Rosberg won the 2016 title, made his rule with his wife Susie their rule, and admits Hamilton later had to remind him of it “There was a moment when we had a really difficult time in 2016, after Nico won the race and the championship, and we didn’t talk to each other for a few weeks. And then he came to my home because I said, we have to talk. And we spent many hours and we came out of this discussion, it was before the Christmas party, so strong. That was the foundation of our friendship and relationship in the years to come." "But what I said to him is, we cannot not speak to each other. If there’s something that annoys us, you just have to pick up the phone. You have to tell me and I’ll promise to do the same, because the rule with Susie is, if there’s something that makes us angry, we talk about it before we switch the light off in the evening. We don’t let it drag into the next day." "And a year or two passed and we had a situation that annoyed me and I didn’t call him, and he called me and said, ‘Remember what you said to me. We have to speak to each other.’ And I said, ‘You’re so absolutely right.’ So he reminded me of what I said to him.”
Christian Horner, asked whether Red Bull ran Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber as a one-two operation, admits the team never told them clearly who was number one and explains how that lesson shaped the Verstappen years “But there were obviously tensions and flash points and both the drivers were getting the same kit, but naturally, Seb was the driver that was getting the results in. And Mark, he thrived in adversity. And some of his best drives were when he felt that, you know, he was hard done by. And his Silverstone drive after the famous not bad for a number two thing was one of his best drives of his career." "But there was a tension building and, you know, I was conflicted because I’d brought Mark into the team. You know, Mark, he was a Williams driver and [he] was managed by Flavio, and I’d convinced, you know, both Mark and Flavio to join the team. And so I did feel conflicted as there started to become tension between these two drivers." "And I guess looking back, we were never totally clear with them that, look, Sebastian is our prime asset. He’s the number one. You are the number two. You know, and I think that that was something that I learned from that period that then became very clear for Max, for later down the line.”

🚨 Ruud van Nistelrooy on the difference between Amorim and Carrick: 🗣️ Van Nistelrooy: “Amorim and Carrick were given two completely different jobs. And only one of them is being asked to do something difficult. Amorim was brought in to implement a style of play. To reset habits. To build structure. To change the identity of the team. That takes time. It also costs points in the short term. And United fans hate that. They want results now and a process later. They always have. Carrick, on the other hand, is here for six months with one clear objective: get United into the Champions League. Nothing more. Nothing less. No identity. No project. Just points. Short-term coaching is about maximising what you have. Long-term coaching is about building something that lasts. That’s why Carrick can collect more points with the same players Amorim was trying to rebuild. Because he doesn’t care how it looks. He just cares that it works. Amorim refused to take the easy route. Sitting deep. Playing safe. Chasing quick fixes. He stuck to the process even when it hurt him. And they sacked him for it. Or they let him leave. Same thing. Some fans look at the table. Others look at the direction. United fans only look at the table. They always have. And then they wonder why nothing ever changes. That’s the difference. One manager was asked to change how the club thinks. The other was asked to get results before the end of the season. And right now, only one of those jobs is being judged by the points on the board. The other one is already forgotten. People will say Carrick is getting more out of the same squad. Fine. But what is he actually getting? A few more points? A temporary climb up the table? And then what? The same players, the same habits, the same problems waiting for the next manager. Amorim was trying to fix that. He was trying to make them uncomfortable. To make them press. To make them play out from the back. To make them understand that winning the ball high up the pitch matters more than sitting deep and hoping for a counter. United fans called it naive. They called it stubborn. They said he was too wedded to his ideas. And when the results didn’t come fast enough, they turned on him. Now they have a manager who will do whatever it takes to pick up points. And they’re happier. For now. But the table doesn’t lie about the long term either. If you keep choosing the short-term fix, you keep ending up in the same place. Near the bottom. Looking for the next man to save you. Carrick might get them into the Champions League. He might not. Either way, the problems Amorim was trying to solve will still be there when he leaves. And United will be looking for another manager who can fix them. Again. That’s the cycle. And until the club decides it wants more than short-term points, it will keep repeating.”
