#UFL Free Agent Watch: WR Jayleen Record
@JayleenRecord put himself on the map at a recent showcase, notching a 4.33 40 yard dash at the event. His college resume includes:
- Two Year Captain at Weber State
- 821 receiving yards, 9 touchdowns
- 78 yard reception for TD
- Returned 11 kicks for 247 yards as senior
- Impressive 41" vertical at 5'8"
Jayleen's pure speed makes him a worthy candidate of a look at camp this upcoming season. Plug & play guy who can contribute on special teams.

I would anticipate the #UFL's upcoming draft to take place after team branding/new head coaches are revealed in October. Probably looking at a November, maybe December timeline.
The draft will primarily target players who are not on NFL rosters. The focus is on younger talent; guys who will be more willing to come play in the UFL. Still will be a "rights", but with an adjusted goal compared to the college drafts the league(s) had in the past.
More details to come soon.
As CEO & President Russ Brandon already stated, this is NOT a complete re-draft of the league, like we saw heading into 2026.
Thank you. MY TIME IS COMING‼️PATIENCE AND TIME IS ON MY SIDE.
With news of the UFL expansion, players I was blessed to see at the recent UFL showcase in St. Louis deserve a shot! Like WR @JayleenRecord

Ayee at the end of the day! My entire time with the Cowboys I’ve never given up a single touchdown preseason or regular season or a pass over 20yards. Did the impossible rekindling my football career after 4 years out of college. Made history! & so much more. I’m super grateful for my hometown team ⭐️love yall forever

Prayers up for Calvin Austin III 🙏🏽 I watched him at Memphis while in high school and always loved his game. If @Giants are looking for a speedster, I’m ready. Ran a 4.34 at the UFL Showcase 2 weeks ago. WR/KR/PR. @ChrisRossetti I have film/testing numbers ready. Let’s work. 🗽🏈

4.34 at the UFL Showcase in St.Louis⚡️
Speed is one thing. Translating it to the field is another. WR/KR with the ability to create separation and make plays.
Still open to NFL, UFL & CFL opportunities.

NEW: From the shadows, Scott Nady's been at forefront of SMU's resurgence on the field and in Dallas.
