Russian forces have begun taking civilians from occupied Oleshky to Russia, apparently disregarding previously announced agreements governing the operation.
The operations are being conducted by the Russian military, without American representatives or teams from either side’s ombudsman office present. Russia’s state news agency TASS is openly filming the operation.
There is no indication that civilians are being given a choice of where they wish to go. No buses or other vehicles designated to transport evacuees to Ukrainian-controlled territory are visible.
The operation raises serious concerns that Russia is once again exploiting a humanitarian evacuation to forcibly transfer Ukrainian civilians.
The parallels with the evacuation of Mariupol’s Azovstal steel plant are disturbing. Once again, Moscow appears to be disregarding agreed procedures while controlling the fate of Ukrainian civilians.

An Italian military CH-47 Chinook helicopter has crashed in Brčko, northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, leaving at least 3 people dead and 12 injured, according to the city’s mayor.
The helicopter was participating in the EUFOR Althea peacekeeping mission when it crashed this afternoon. The cause of the accident remains unknown.
EUFOR confirmed that several personnel tragically lost their lives and others were seriously injured. Emergency services responded to the scene, and the injured were taken to a hospital in Brčko.
Italy’s Ministry of Defence said it could not provide further details pending more precise information, particularly regarding the condition of the personnel.
EUFOR Althea has been deployed in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2004, following NATO’s post-war peacekeeping mission.

Swedish navy is operating a unit (highly likely a Visby stealth corvette) down by Kaliningrad, ~3 miles of the border.

Erste Aufnahmen bestätigen das was viele befürchteten: Russland ging in der Region die Puste aus. Unmengen an Munition und Person erreichen Positionen die lange unerreicht blieben. Die Positionen werden befestigt und ausgebaut. Diese Waffenruhe war nie für Frieden gedacht. Sie gibt Russland die Ruhe um sich auf einen eventuellen Sturm auf Kherson vorzubereiten. Der einzige Trost für uns: wir werden einige alte, kranke, verletzte davor rausbringen können. Mark my words: danach bricht in Kherson die Hölle auf Erden ein.
Viele im Team gehen davon aus das man Einwohner zwingt die Simferopol Route zu wählen um die Propaganda mit „all diese Menschen haben sich für Russland entschieden“‘zu füttern.
Mein Appell an die Bewohner die es lesen: ich weiß wie sehr ihr Auto Stadt liebt aber um sie wieder aufbauen zu können müsst ihr überleben. Falls ihr Verwandte habt nutzt die Chance nun. Nummer des Evakuierungsbüro Kherson: +380970381816
