Friends, the sheer volume of fraud taking place in recent years throughout the world, and in America in particular, is staggering. I heard recently that the high end of federal estimates of the amount of money stolen per year in America is greater than the GDP of Vietnam, the Philippines, or Denmark.
This is a real blight upon our society, made possible, at least in part, by religious disaffiliation.
Since morality is grounded, ultimately, in God, one consequence of disaffiliation is an increase in moral drift, relativism, and indifference.
If we want to protect the common good, we have to recover a moral integrity rooted in the Ten Commandments, the Beatitudes, and the parables of Jesus.

Is this you @AbdulElSayed in Colombia in 2022? It’s a private retreat including Intuitive Solutions, the fundraising and contracting organization for at least five credibly accused Muslim Brotherhood offshoots and other terror-affiliates. Is that you grinning in a photo with the CEO of ICNA Relief, which has been criticized for its connections to Islamic terror groups?

👮Federal authorities believe 300 illegal marijuana grows in Maine alone are run by Chinese nationals.
Now a California congressman wants the @FBI to find out who is financing the grows that have spread across Siskiyou and Shasta counties, where deputies pulled 332,871 plants last year.
@peterschweizer described how these operations work back in 2024: Chinese organized crime that cooperates with the CCP, which provides the capital, and Chinese nationals in the country illegally running the sites.
Rep. James Gallagher (R-Calif.) sent a letter on October 19 to FBI Director Kash Patel urging a coordinated federal investigation into thousands of illegal marijuana cultivation sites across Siskiyou and Shasta Counties.

🚨 SCOOP- RealClearPolitics Investigates: Questions Surround California State Senator's Legal Defense Fund.
-State Sen. Susan Rubio quietly opened a legal defense amid her ex-husband's defamation lawsuit against her and a sprawling federal marijuana bribery probe in which she was questioned and one that has already ensnared a half dozen local officials.
-The L.A. Times said Rubio is the only public official who fits a description of "Person 20" in a plea deal — someone accused of taking $30,000 in illegal contributions and soliciting a $240,000 bribe from a pot company.
She denies any wrongdoing but doesn't deny that she is person 20.

🚨This is an absolute outrage. At least a million hardworking Californians have fled the state over the last decade because they can’t afford the sky-high gas, electric, insurance and housing bills.
But illegal immigrants are welcomed with freebies while Gavin Newsom turned a surplus into tens of billions of debt.

🔥🔥🔥CALIFORNIA WILDFIRE CORRUPTION DEJA VU: Right for whom? That's the question. The utilities that cause the deadliest and most devastating fires in California and then raise rates on consumers to pay for them while making record profits are THE PROBLEM. California has the 2nd highest utility rates in the country, next to Hawaii, which also had a major fire caused by a utility and then saw utility bills go up to pay for it. 😡
And the Newsom-appointed public-utility commission, which is supposed to provide oversight, has done nothing to ensure these utilities don't kill again. And indeed they continue to do so -- just last year when an old SoCal Edison transmitter killed 19 in the Alta Dena fire.
Meanwhile, Gavin Newsom and his wife have taken at least a combined $700,000 in campaign donations and $$$ for her gender-justice nonprofit from PG&E, which caused the deadliest wildfire in state history and was found guilty of manslaughter for killing 84 people in the Paradise fire because of neglected maintenance on its equipment.
👉We have a whole chapter dedicated to this in our book, 💰Fool's Gold: The Radicals, Traitors and Con-Artists Who Killed the California Dream and Now Threaten Us All💰.
The Newsoms are so close to PG&E that Jennifer Siebel Newsom screened one of her indoctrinating "gender-justice" films in the atrium of its corporate skyscraper headquarters in downtown San Francisco and listed the company as an associate producer of two of her films.
Under pressure in 2019 after the Paradise fire, the Newsoms swore off taking money from PG&E -- but the utility still donated $300,000 to get Newsom's signature care-courts homelessness ballot initiative over the finish line (it barely passed in early 2025 -- and provides $6 billion more for homelessness after the state spent $24 billion with little to show for it and no accounting of how the money was spent).
This is a follow-the-money issue -- plain and simple.

Mexico runs 53 consulates inside the United States, and the State Department has opened a national security review of every one of them.
GAI traced what that network does. Mexican officials have opened voter registration centers on consulate grounds and coordinated with migrant advocacy groups across the country, which international law forbids a foreign consulate from doing.
@peterschweizer has Mexico's consul general in Chicago admitting he joined forces with anti-Trump organizations.
@Ksukhia followed the network to Xavier Becerra, the frontrunner for governor of California. On September 11, 2017 he attended a private luncheon with Mexican diplomats mobilizing against the Trump administration's DACA termination, then filed suit against it the same day.
At the event where CHIRLA endorsed him, Becerra called the group "my family."
DEEP DIVE: A growing body of evidence reveals that Xavier Becerra has deep ties to a network of militant activists and foreign agents who have a history of meddling in U.S. elections and undermining American sovereignty. trib.al/oUtzM9J

These are 2024 numbers from the annual federal Medicaid fraud data.
California: 270 investigators, 32 indictments.
Ohio: 105 investigators, 69 indictments.
Pennsylvania: 75 investigators, 113 indictments.
Arizona: 33 investigators, 82 indictments.
Alabama: 7 investigators, 3 indictments.
Arizona has a ninth of California's staff and brings more than twice as many cases. Pennsylvania has a quarter of the staff and more than three times the cases.
The usual defense is that California is simply bigger, and it is. But size cuts the other way here, because a bigger program means more fraud to find, not less. California opened just over 1,000 investigations and indicted 32 people out of them. Ohio opened roughly the same number of investigations with 105 people and indicted 69.
An investigator can build a solid file and still watch nothing happen, because a prosecutor has to be willing to carry it into court. Where nobody in the governor's office wants fraud prosecutions in the paper, the cases quietly stop.
@peterschweizer and @Eric_Eggers went through it state by state on this week's episode of @TheDrillDown1.

Oh @CaitforNewYork, your lack of knowledge of the district or my constituents is truly astounding.
Mike McMahon is a decorated NYPD sergeant and 9/11 first responder, alongside his brother Vinny (FDNY) who died last year from 9/11 illness.
Their extended family has been longtime Rockland County residents.
Attacking Mike without having any knowledge of the facts or evidence is pathetic and will not play well among law enforcement and firefighters, among many others.
Also, before you run your mouth, you might want to speak with Mike’s wife @MarthaByrne10 who led the charge to right this injustice.
I was proud to stand alongside them and secure Mike’s pardon.
Mike Lawler is truly looking out for everyone except his own constituents.
This time it was an illegal foreign agent of the Chinese government, whom a judge deemed a national security threat. That didn’t stop Mike from advocating for him to get a presidential pardon, nor has the national security threat China poses stopped him from renting an office from a company linked to the CCP.
Mike Lawler cannot be trusted. We deserve better.

$504,497 in cartel-linked money went to an elite Florida sports academy as tuition. The woman who arranged it had been sanctioned by the Treasury Department since 2015, which barred her from touching the American financial system at all.
She pleaded guilty this week. The academy itself settled with Treasury for $1.72 million over the yearly tuition agreements it signed with sanctioned clients.
Sanctions only do something if someone on this end reads the name on the payment. Her partner is serving life for moving cocaine into this country by the ton, and the family's money still cleared an American institution's billing office.

August of 2020 I had a visitation from the Blessed Mother. A few weeks later evil entered my home in the costume of the FBI. The devil tried to destroy us but was ultimately conquered. The Blessed Mother knew evil was coming. She prepared me for war. 🙏🏼
Since the 16th century, Catholic piety has assigned entire months to special devotions focused on a mystery of our faith or upon a particular saint. The month of August is dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The physical heart of Mary is venerated (and not adored as the Sacred Heart of Jesus is) because it is united to her person and is the seat of her love (especially for her divine Son), virtue, and inner life. Such devotion is an incentive to a similar love and virtue.
This devotion has received new emphasis in this century from the visions given to Lucy Dos Santos, oldest of the visionaries of Fatima, in her convent in Tuy, in Spain, in 1925 and 1926. In the visions Our Lady asked for the practice of the Five First Saturdays to help make amends for the offenses committed against her heart by the blasphemies and ingratitude of men. The practice parallels the devotion of the Nine First Fridays in honor of the Sacred Heart.
On October 31, 1942, Pope Pius XII made a solemn Act of Consecration of the Church and the whole world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Let us remember this devotion year-round, but particularly through the month of August.

Switzerland has 26 cantons, each with its own constitution, tax rates, and laws, and the result is one of the wealthiest, most stable countries on earth. That is not a coincidence.
You want to understand why Swiss GDP per capita sits around $92,000 while the EU average hovers near $37,000? Start here. Cantons compete for residents and businesses the same way firms compete for customers. Zug kept its corporate tax rate at roughly 11.9%, attracted commodity traders and crypto firms, and watched its population and tax revenues grow. Cantons that taxed aggressively lost mobile capital and productive citizens to neighbors with lighter burdens. This is Tiebout competition working in real life, not a textbook diagram.
The federal government in Bern handles defense, monetary policy, and some foreign affairs. Everything else defaults downward. Cantons set income taxes. Communes set property levies. Citizens in Appenzell Innerrhoden voted on local laws by a show of hands in the Landsgemeinde, an open-air assembly, until 1990 for most matters. The feedback loop between decision-makers and the people paying for those decisions stays tight. That tightness disciplines spending in ways no central auditor ever will.
Free market thinkers have stressed this for generations: political units must be small enough that exit is credible. When the cost of leaving a bad jurisdiction drops, politicians face real consequences for bad policy. Switzerland kept that cost low by design. A business or family in Basel-Stadt dissatisfied with cantonal policy drives forty minutes to Baselland. No visa. No language barrier. No bureaucratic labyrinth. Just a move.
The EU spent decades building the opposite architecture, consolidating regulatory power in Brussels and eliminating the jurisdictional diversity that forces governments to stay honest. Switzerland refused to join. Its per-capita wealth, its low public debt, and its functional civil society arrived because the Swiss preserved the one institutional feature every centralized state destroys first: the credible right to leave.
