If I was a betting man I would put money on a bet that the Moe/Cockrill play in the current bargaining with teachers is invoking this section of the Saskatchewan Employment Act. A supervised vote of the government’s last offer. If so, teachers should reject it.

In case you missed it: In 2023, private schools received a 25% increase of taxpayer funds compared to the previous year.
Public schools received a 2.5% increase.

I was at the table. STF was there, Scott. We cleared two full days to negotiate in good faith. Your team didn’t even enter the building today. Yesterday they wouldn’t start until 1pm, and then had no ability to negotiate. Stop with the lies, as premier you need to do better.

Teachers are on the TBC. They prepared sub plans for their capable but overworked and in-short-supply colleagues, travelled, spent time away from their families and home communities for THIS?!?! Absolutely zero respect for my colleagues and teachers as professionals.

the authority to bargain, just another take it or leave it offer.
After attempting to delay bargaining further, the GTBC didn’t return to the table.
