Building a consumer app is an adventure I *thought* I was ready for, but users? They’ll always keep you on your toes. key takeaway: Be prepared to throw half your assumptions (and your ego) out the window.🧵

I get so annoyed by posts like this. People get sick. People get pregnant. Life happens. Unexpected things happen. And what exactly is the alternative? That people should just end up on the street because life didn’t go according to plan? It’s genuinely wild to me that this is even a debate. You can say whatever you want about Europe, and people certainly love to talk about our taxes. But you know what? Our schools are free. Healthcare is free or affordable. Universities are free or heavily subsidized. Childcare is affordable. And if you lose your job or get sick, there’s a system in place to help you get back on your feet. That’s the whole point. We have a social safety net because we understand that life doesn’t always go as planned. And I genuinely believe that having that protection should be a basic human right, not a privilege. Now, if you want to talk about how Europe can make it easier for startups to grow, attract investment, or build successful companies, I’m all for that conversation. There’s plenty we can improve. But please, let’s stop acting like our social welfare system is the problem. It’s one of the things we should be most proud of.
European hiring rules are genuinely insane. For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years. If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!

turns out watching your person live their childhood dreams is actually the best part. highly recommend
I’ve been a Barça fan for as long as I can remember(2008/2009) - I don’t have much memories of my early childhood, but I still vividly remember watching that champions league game (09) with my dad and siblings. I always talk about how I really want to see a live Barcelona game. She made the dream come true🥹🥹🥹 I’m going to camp nou🤭🤭🤭❤️❤️❤️

Paris just had its first prediction markets event at @signalweek. @njokuScript was on that stage. Probably nothing for @ultramarketsxyz

Introducing mathbuilder.xyz, A tool that allows you compute anything. Think of how programming languages work. You are not restricted to a certain type of program rather you are given the building blocks to build whatever you want. That's the goal for mathbuilder.xyz. A turing-complete math platform that gives you the building blocks to calculate, experiment and build deep computational flows. This is the first of many demos. Try it out and join me on this journey as I build the best math and computation platform.

Moved to Australia at 20 thinking it’d be 6 months… stayed 5 years. Got a master’s, landed my first jobs. Left, then did it again: Portugal at 25 for 2 years. If you ever get the chance, just go. It’ll teach you more than you expect.
People who moved abroad alone in their 20s, handled all docs, bank account, visa, tax, jobs, accomadation, and culture difference These people fear nothing anymore

I remember when we celebrated $100K all time volume. We're now doing over $130K in a single day. 47 live markets. Less than 0.1% of what's on Polymarket. Market listing is operationally intensive because it's the first line of defense for the vault, and we're working to automate it. 325 traders fully onboarded. 50% came through other traders inviting them with their own invite codes. Community grew from ~500 to 1,020 members. All of this with no paid acquisition and still in private beta . All of this shows that traders want leverage on prediction markets, and we've made that possible on @Polymarket today. Lots of new product features and improvements coming in April. We're not slowing down.🔥 Grateful for the traders, community, and team that got us here. Data source: Polymarket's Official Builder Leaderboard
Ultramarkets March 2026 Recap From $108K to $1.5M in volume. 14x growth. $1.5M total volume 325 traders (6.5x growth) 82 markets listed, 47 live 5.04x avg. leverage Vault utilization: 20% → 63% 4 Weekly Margin Logs. 4 weeks of shipping. Dynamic auto-close for short-term range markets, liquidation engine, vault attack defense, and a full audit trail - all in a single month of March. When we started building @ultramarketsxyz , the consensus was that leverage on prediction markets was impossible. Gap risk made it structurally unworkable. Multiple people at major prediction market venues & exchanges told us this directly and we proved them wrong Today, the largest regulated prediction market in the US just got a license to offer margin trading. We've been live for 6 weeks, offering up to 10x leverage on @Polymarket events, growing over 2x WoW with a 80% trader retention. This is a massive validation for us. Kalshi pursuing this through a regulated FCM path for institutions, while we're live on Polymarket global for everyone. Different approaches, same thesis: prediction markets at 1x are leaving information and capital on the table. We are just getting started! Day 1
