Arsene Wenger gave me an unbeaten season and Thierry Henry.
I'd still slap the shit out of a baby koala for him.
Always.

The "sorry can you repeat the last part of your question" was elite. The journalist was being needlessly annoying in that setting because Arteta was a young coach.

Virgil van Dijk, this you?
And this, btw, was deemed NOT to be a penalty.
Worse than even Timber's incident.

Labelling #Arsenal as soft was easy work for pundits; that’s why they hate that Mikel Arteta has made us the toughest, most physically robust all phase team in the league with a defence that doesn’t let you breathe. It’s never been about entertainment.

Opta have analysed 442 Premier League games at Anfield, covering every season since 2003/04.
This is the first time Liverpool have failed to register a shot on target in those 442 matches.

"More aggressive"
🚨JUST IN: Dermot Gallagher claims Max Dowman’s red card appeal should be DENIED because of his AGGRESSIVENESS.
"I think it is [a red card]. People are comparing it to Cole Palmer on Saturday (with Mateus Fernandes), I think Dowman is a little bit more aggressive.”
Gallagher is an ex-Premier League referee and Sky Sports analyst.

Dragging someone’s foot off your own like this is either “excessive force” or “brutality” according
to the FA - yet another institution corrupted by toxic culture and incompetence.

Harry Kane has never received a red Card in all 10 years in the premier league
They've given it to 16 year old Downman and Lewis Skelly at 18

No surprise. Common sense and football don’t go hand in hand.
It will be fun to watch on a weekly basis the countless examples of far worse incidents going completely unpunished.
Hopefully a valuable learning experience for Dowman though. Can’t afford to get sucked in to incidents like this.
Regulation & Discipline update on @Arsenal:

ALT An independent Regulatory Commission has dismissed claims of both wrongful dismissal and excessive punishment for Max Dowman. The Arsenal player was sent off during their EFL Cup game against Fleetwood Town on Tuesday 27 October and will be suspended for three matches. The Regulatory Commission’s written reasons for its decisions will be published in due course.
