In concept, it's cool. A new batch of spartans to bolster a new era for humans after the hell that was the human v covenant war? Hell yeah! In execution, they fucked it up. Not one likeable spartan IV.
The Spartan IVs were one of the worst things to happen for Halo's story. The reason the Chief was so fascinating is he was one of the last supersoldiers. It also doesn't help that they failed to make any engaging or likable Spartan IV characters outside of the mainline games. The ODSTs should've remained ODSTs.
