The BC Teachers' Federation put out a statement saying members are "scared" after British Columbians voted in a Conservative government.
Meanwhile, a BC grade 6/7 teacher who gave sticky notes to a 12-year-old student and asked if the student had a crush on him got a two-day suspension. Two days.
Maybe the union should focus on protecting classrooms instead of fighting election results.

If I went up and said a speech like this, I would be arrested by the RCMP for hate speech. This young lady needs to understand what she just did. Suggesting that the basic existence of people like myself who are conservatives should no longer be allowed to exist is hate speech. She needs to resign immediately.

Finish her sentence "and their existence." Again, CTV are running cover for this because it's against the Conservatives, doesn't matter if it's Provincial or Federal politics.
CTV should be holding her accountable for her disgusting comments. If a BC Conservative MLA said this, CTV would be holding panels for days looking for answers.
