NRA’s @JustinDavisNRA makes excellent points to @FoxNews about the discrepancies in the anti-gun argument that the Second Amendment only protects muskets.
Firearm technology has advanced since 1776, as the Founding Fathers knew it would, but so has the way speech reaches the masses; television, social media, and blogs are all protected under the First Amendment.
"Your rights are on the ballot."
NRA-ILA Executive Director @JCommerford joined @GunStuffTV to discuss the stakes for the Second Amendment in the midterm elections and why voters need to stay informed and make their voices heard at the polls.

…that is also the largest small arms manufacturer for our armed services? Seems like Cinde is happy to throw both a few thousand jobs for Granite Staters and our national security out the window to appease the gun grabbers financially supporting her campaign.
Does @NHDems not support a company employing over 3,400 people, most of whom work in NH?
Not only does their candidate @CindeWarmington want to disarm you, but they also want to take good-paying jobs from Granite Staters.
Here’s @KellyAyotte proudly campaigning with the company that got a sweetheart deal from her in Concord.
Ayotte accepted a $15,000 contribution from Sig Sauer 22 days after signing legislation shielding the company from lawsuits in the state over safety features. #NHPolitics

If you’re in Colorado’s Third Congressional District, make sure to VOTE and VOTE EARLY if possible!

You've heard of Colt revolvers and even Remington revolvers from the mid-19th century, but what about Whitney? these .36-caliber revolvers were produced by an old name in firearm manufacturing, and they produced a solid, serviceable sidearm that saw use during the Civil War.

Oof.
@dunlap4congress has focused a massive part of his campaign on a job he served only SIX MONTHS in 15 YEARS AGO.
Sad stuff.

NH is home to over 9,000 firearms-related jobs, providing nearly $3 BILLION in economic impact.
Only one gubernatorial candidate in New Hampshire supports these jobs and your right to keep and bear arms: @KellyAyotte.
Vote accordingly.
Great to be back at @sigsauerinc HQ today!
Proud to have fantastic manufacturers like Sig creating good-paying jobs for Granite Staters.
James Talarico will say anything at this point to sway voters. Do NOT believe his lies!

Today, Maine Attorney General Aaron Frey signed on to the two cases at the Supreme Court of the United States that could take away your right to own an AR-15.
Viramontes v. Cook County and Grant v. Higgins are both pivotal cases in answering the question presented to the court:
"Whether the Second and Fourteenth Amendments guarantee the right to possess AR-15 platform and similar semiautomatic rifles."
I didn't see a press release from the AG's office. He's speaking for the whole state on this. I can't be the only one who strongly disagrees with him.
This election, with your vote for State Representative and State Senator you are choosing the people who will select Maine's next Attorney General and Secretary of State.
The last day to early vote is tomorrow October, 29th. Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd.
It was a racist law. You know how we know? Because a state supreme court judge in the 1940s who had served on the legislature when the law was passed said this:
“I know something of the history of this legislation. The original Act of 1893 was passed when there was a great influx of negro laborers in this State drawn here for the purpose of working in turpentine and lumber camps. The same condition existed when the Act was amended in 1901 and the Act was passed for the purpose of disarming the negro laborers and to thereby reduce the unlawful homicides that were prevalent in turpentine and saw-mill camps and to give the white citizens in sparsely settled areas a better feeling of security. The statute was never intended to be applied to the white population and in practice has never been so applied.”
