In my experience in corporate Nigeria, I have few tips/reminders for myself.
I’ll be updating whenever I have new experiences or I remember.

“I have been to the University of Chicago, and I met so many of President Tinubu’s classmates in person. He is literally a genius.”
— Dr. Tunji Alausa, Minister of Education, recounts meeting President Tinubu’s former classmates in person and praises the President’s academic brilliance.

As if I’m watching one of those movies where the colonisers come to colonise Black people and offer them bread in exchange for their oil. lol
Our energetic VP wasn't done with just one round! 😂 He went round the stadium twice, making sure everyone got a feel of his presence. The crowd couldn't get enough!
Calabar was beautiful in all definition of it.
Again, Thank You Cross River State!

We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

I used to say it and I'll keep saying it: George Orwell was way ahead of his time.
The obsession of an incompetent government with numbers and statistics is as old as time itself.
Orwell portrayed it so beautiful in his novel 1984.
In 2026, Nigerians are living in it.
Since last Saturday, I've not heard UP NEPA in my street.
All I've been hearing is the humming noise of generators, mine included.
But here's the Minister of Power rolling out statistics.
Orwell would have loved to live in Nigeria.
He wouldn't have a library big enough to contain his manuscripts.
No worry.
He sabi this politics thing.
Whoever is going to take it from him would have to fight HARD.
Not sure anyone both living and dead in Nigeria sabi “Nigerian politics” reach this man.
Anyways, over to you NDC

I’ll say this once.
I deliberately refused to engage the comments about where my ancestral home is because it is irrelevant to the point I’ve been making since yesterday.
The idea that a person who lives in Lagos and contributes to the economy of Lagos has no right to an opinion about how Lagos State is governed because they aren’t an indigene absolutely makes no sense. It is rooted in Bigotry and stupidity so I refuse to give it any legitimacy.
Public infrastructure, sanitation, roads, drainage, transportation and the general quality of life affects everyone who lives here.
You cannot expect people to contribute to a state’s economy and bear the consequences of its governance then tell them they have no business questioning how that state is run.
I don’t need to prove where my ancestors come from to have a legitimate interest in the quality of governance in Lagos. Neither should anyone else. Kalas

Our city deserves better with Hamzat. If you are not happy, you can return to your shithole state.
So one can build significant resources to invest in a bank to become chairman, yet isn't economically sound. Meanwhile, another group that have built wealth without clear underlying enterprise can oversee the worst destruction in economic value in living memory and still be the economically sound ones. No put me for talk abeg😂

Highly unacceptable for a person to be violently attacked for his personal choice. Democracy thrives on persuasion, arguments and freewill to make choices.
The government should look into this situation and protect the rights of the young citizen.
This is where we should be headed: simplifying meal preps for busy individuals and families, conserving storage space and making cooking fun for all. I love it!
