Multiple membership models in lme4!
Sometimes observations belong to multiple levels of a random effect, but how do you model that?
lme4 didn't have support for multiple membership random effects, so we wrote a little package.

A more detailed guide to using lmerMultiMember is available on the project's Github repository. You can also install the package from there since it is not available on CRAN (yet?)

lmerMultiMember is joint work with Phillip Alday, based on a solution proposed by @bolkerb.
Feel free to DM me with any questions or feedback (particularly about usability!) or open an issue on Github.
