ALT More than five years ago, Edgemoor, the Kansas City Aviation Department, Clark | Weitz | Clarkson, SOM, and the community came together with a common goal: deliver a world-class new terminal for a world-class city. A terminal that is rich with passenger amenities. A terminal that provided significant opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses. A terminal that helped to create the workforce of the future. A terminal that will have a legacy impact on Kansas City and the community for generations to come. Earlier this week, we achieved substantial completion -- a critical construction milestone -- and turned over the keys to this remarkable new facility, on time and on budget. On behalf of our entire team, thank you to our trusted project partners, to the men and women who built the new terminal, and to the Kansas City community that supported it. We can't wait for opening day, and look forward to seeing how the world embraces a new era for air travel in Kansas City.
