Part of the reason game discussion has become somewhat tiresome for me is because as I grow older I realize I actually dislike very few games. Even games that I once held in poor regard I either reconciled with or managed to end up liking wholesale.

Sometimes I feel kind of insecure about the fact that I don't personally have any kind of grand, unifying theory on what constitutes good game design or what makes up a good game. Good games can take so many forms, and I can find a way to appreciate almost any decision made.

If there's one thing I definitively don't like about the Fortune's weave manga so far, it's how Cai and Castor are depicted artistically. Kazuro Kyou needs to take a page out of Shiro Usazaki's book when it comes to drawing black characters in the manga format.

I have finally rolled credits on Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave, and I can say with confidence that this is the greatest $240 (AUD) I've ever spent on a game. GOTY, without question.

I tried to go for the Dietrich/Fabio, Leda/Olympia, and Diego/Esmeralda endings, but ultimately I'm not mad with what I got.. If anything, I'm disappointed by a lack of paired endings like Nathan/Creek, Nydine/Dante, Peppe/Ultand, Bonaventure/Tobias, etc
