And they're off!
Our silent auction is open until November 7. Getaways, racing memorabilia, art and more, and every bid gives a retired racehorse a second chance.

Remembering the great racehorse "Cigar" who passed away on October 7, 2014. He had resided in retirement at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY for many years and was quite a fan favorite. I shot this photo of him about two years before he died. He is missed immeasurably.
I was fortunate to see many of his races in person, but his retirement ceremony at the Garden was something else altogether.
May your hooves thunder in Heaven today, Cigar.
Thanks for the memories.

❤️ IT’S OFFICIAL — WE BOUGHT A FARM! 🐴🏡
After 14 years of dreaming, working, and believing, Unbridled Spirits Thoroughbred Retirement Ranch finally has a forever home to call our own!
We could not have made this possible without Rick Dawson, owner of 2022 Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike, and Mary Hoffman, dedicated aftercare advocate and beloved sponsor and heart human of I Am Awesome.
These two champions helped lead the way for USTRR, and we are forever grateful.
I wish we could bridge this gap for every Thoroughbred and work together to ensure aftercare organizations have the financial resources needed to provide lifelong, compassionate care.
Today, we celebrate a farm.
Tomorrow, we keep fighting for aftercare and the horses who gave us everything.
USTRR has a forever home. And this is only the beginning. ❤️🐴
This! 💯
@JuniorandKellyA is beloved. This is a great piece showing the heart he has for his family and the gratitude he still has for Cody's Wish, who changed his life. The pressure he was under to come through for the Dormans ... clearly...was immense. Well done Junior. 😍🏇

🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘👉 Poster 10-06-26. Thank goodness Jive and Dreamin Again and the dark bay unidentified TB mare at Stroud were helped . Several Thoroughbreds need help and there is none for many of them. Unfortunately, we still have a moratorium in place.
💔⏳👉Many of these horse will be shipping to lower level auctions or closer to the border the longer they are at these lots. Many will get sick. There is no excuse and it is a disgrace that these horses do not receive any industry help. These horses should not be treated as less than or non important because they are at feedlot. They deserve help and to be safe.

🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘👉 Poster 10-03-26. So many Thoroughbreds need help and there is none. We still have a moratorium in place. Sadly we do not know the status of Rivercity Rockette 💔 Several horses are lame or injured. Many of these horses will eventually be shipping to more lower level auctions or closer to the border the longer they are at these lots. Many will get sick. Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey has won the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes four times ...
Polish Navy (1986) - Finished 7th in the BC Juvenile
Easy Goer (1988) - Finished 2nd in the BC Juvenile
Adjudicating (1989) - Finished 11th in the BC Juvenile
U.S.S. Valor (2026) - Will skip the BC Juvenile
McGaughey's only win in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile came in 1989 with Rhythm, who had finished second to his stablemate in the Champagne.
