On November 1, between about 01:30 and 13:00 UTC, some users saw "blob submission failed" errors when sending messages in Lightchain AI chat. The cause was one of our RPC nodes, which fell out of sync during scheduled maintenance and kept rejecting some requests after it recovered. The node has been restored, and messages are going through normally again. The Lightchain mainnet ran normally throughout. Blocks and finality weren't affected, and no funds were at risk. We've added automated monitoring and recovery for this case, and we're adjusting our maintenance schedule so it doesn't happen again. Thanks for your patience. The vision is to use Tesla Optimus robots, humans and local lunar manufacturing to build massive compute infrastructure, then launch it into deep space using electromagnetic mass drivers
Because the Moon has no atmosphere and only one-sixth of Earth’s gravity, electromagnetic mass drivers could accelerate payloads to escape velocity using electricity instead of conventional chemical rocket propulsion
So no combustion burning rocket fuel is required for launch from the lunar surface
That opens the door to scaling compute by another THREE orders of magnitude:

Lightchain includes AI Chat, a developer IDE, an explorer, a bridge, a faucet, and DAO governance tools.

The native token supports network participation, worker incentives, ecosystem access, and governance.
