"Andy Burnham is open to adopting EU free movement"
Finally, a grown up being practical and sensible 👏

Burnham said: “Freedom of movement had very significant challenges associated with it and I spoke about them in my previous time in parliament. But, at the same time, it was a type of immigration that perhaps wasn’t as difficult [as now]. Revolving door migration where people would come and then go back is different. The balance of migration has changed, hasn’t it, since then? I think we’ve just got to have an honest discussion about those things.”
"It was generally younger people, not always, but spending a few years, then going back. And obviously the ease of that worked for British people as well."
Analysis by the Migration Observatory at Oxford University shows EU migrants generally tend to stay a shorter time in the UK than non-EU migrants.
Burnham said: “I am positive about closer ties with Europe and I’m not hiding that. I think it will add to British GDP. I think it will give us stronger control of migration. I want to make those arguments.”
My view:
We should be able to discuss mobility with Europe without treating the subject as taboo. People’s lives, work and families cross borders; policy should reflect that reality.
A mature debate would weigh the pressures on public services and communities alongside the benefits of making it easier for people to study, work and build lives across Europe. It would also ask what arrangements give the UK practical control while restoring opportunities we’ve lost.
That’s the kind of conversation voters deserve: honest about the costs, clear about the choices, and focused on what works for people.

This is a confession to treason.
Elon Musk, a private individual and not an elected official, hijacked U.S. national defence policy to harm partner Ukraine and help enemy Russia.

The “private security team” the Reform council hired under the guise of keeping women safe, have assaulted two teen girls by HANDCUFFING them despite having zero lawful right to do so.
So the only notable thing that Operation Vanguard has done is *checks notes* assault girls.

In the Budget HMRC will be granted powers to seize money directly from the bank accounts of people who fail to pay their taxes.
Does this include people like Nadhim Zahawi, Lord Bamford and all the other massive tax avoiders.
Or is it just for the little people as usual?

Forget the euphoria of Britain's change of policy on settlements. Palestinians, totally abandoned by the international community, are being ethnically cleansed in occupied east Jerusalem. I report for Middle East Eye on house demolitions in Al Bustan:

His actions led to thousands of avoidable deaths.
This is a first symbolic step towards accountability.

AIPAC is now spending as much as $9 million against Abdul El-Sayed.
AIPAC is why we’re at war in Iran.
AIPAC is why the U.S. has supported genocide in Gaza.
We must say NO to AIPAC.
YES to electing Abdul as Michigan’s next U.S. Senator.

The biggest benefits claimant in the UK.
They claim an eye watering £17,500,000,000 a year.
The same as 4.4m people on benefits.
How?
Because they claim ALL their costs, every wage, every oil rig, every tanker.
Completely nationalised, but the profits are Privatised.
