I am going to miss my rising 9th Graders! Some spent 90 minutes every other day of 6th grade virtually in my home---so happy to be able to give send-off hugs in person! And treats for all the drop-off/pick-up puppies! Happy Summer! @gwcarvermiddle

ALT To educators working the day after Halloween. We thank you!
Spanish 1 Ss @gwcarvermiddle celebrated #DíaDeLosAngelitos and #DiaDeLosMuertos by learning about ofrendas, altares, papel picado, and watching Coco. @bryanhicks59 @BettinaStaudt @CCPSSLA @Alphabet_Miller @ccpsinfo #Familia
Ofrenda for the incredible man for whom our school is named, #GeorgeWashingtonCarver @gwcarvermiddle @bryanhicks59 @BettinaStaudt @CCPSSLA @ccpsinfo #DiaDeMuertos
Spanish 3 Ss created ofrendas to honor loved ones or celebrities who have passed away, or what their own might look like while learning and writing about #DiaDeMuertos @gwcarvermiddle @bryanhicks59 @BettinaStaudt @CCPSSLA @ccpsinfo @Alphabet_Miller
What a spooktacular way to share the love of Latin! One of our teachers complimented the Ss in their TL, and one of the Ss exclaimed how cool it was to hear someone other than their classmates or teacher use Latin in the "Real World!" @ccpsinfo @Emily_Stains413 @lilliannaizo
My 3rd block Ss enjoyed a visit from the Cougars who study Latin and sang ancient Tim Burton’s themed incantations for us 🖤 @gwcarvermiddle @BettinaStaudt @KiserLp @bryanhicks59 @CCPSSLA @Alphabet_Miller
