These convictions of @ImaanZHazir and @AdvHadiali aren’t worth the paper they are written on.
They are clear abuses of the law and process. Nothing in them should shock anyone, because it would mean you were expecting a legitimate standard from them.
These orders deliver only one actual judgment: a self declaration of condemnation upon the legal system and judiciary which allows them to be delivered.
What could be more shameful than this? Will the rulers currently in power be able to face the public once they are out of power? How will they justify this travesty of justice?

Imaan and Hadi are prisoners of conscience. Their convictions are cruel, vindictive, and textbook examples of using law and the judicial process as weapons of persecution
Now we are seeing young Baloch girls armed with rifles roaming villages and streets, welcomed and embraced by locals. Just two years ago, many of these women were engaged in peaceful activism but were met with harsh treatment. I warned about this very outcome two years ago in this piece I wrote for Dawn.

اسٹیبلشمنٹ کے قریب سمجھے جانے والے معروف اینکر پرسن طلعت حسین کا کہنا ہے کہ اسٹیبلشمنٹ کو اپنا نمک تبدیل کر دینا چاہیے کیونکہ وہ جسے نمک کھلاتی ہے، وہی آخرکار اسے لات مارتا ہے۔

منصور بخاری صاحب صرف کتابیں بیچنے والے شخص نہیں تھے بلکہ وہ کوئٹہ میں کتاب اور علم سے محبت کرنے والوں کے لیے ایک پہچان تھے۔ پاکستان میں اگر کوئی کتاب کہیں نہ ملتی تو لوگ کہتے تھے گوشۂ ادب میں تلاش کرو وہاں مل جائے گی۔ وہاں بھی نہ ملتی تو بخاری صاحب کہیں سے ڈھونڈ لاتے اور ضرورت پڑتی تو چھپوا بھی دیتے۔ پڑھنے کے شوقین دوست اگر کتاب خریدنے کی استطاعت نہیں رکھتے تھے تو بخاری صاحب انہیں قسطوں پر بھی کتاب دے دیتے تھے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں غریقِ رحمت کرے۔ آمین۔

Well, I think it’s too early to assume this is the beginning of Bugti’s downfall. He may apologise tomorrow and try to fix his political problems by attacking Mahrang Baloch and shifting public attention elsewhere. Anyway, let’s see how it unfolds.

Key facts across major infrastructure projects include:
Turbat-Mand Road M-8 Link: Crucial for Pak-Iran trade, this 115 km project stalled due to provincial design and funding bottlenecks, not FWO execution. Work is actively ongoing on 86 km. Secretary C and W praised the progress on June 15 2026, and Provincial Minister Zahoor Ahmed Buledi commended its quality on September 21 2026, calling it a long-standing public demand.
Sacrifice Amid Security Threats: FWO teams faced IED attacks, ambushes, and arson by militant groups across hostile terrain. On June 6 2026, Lieutenant Colonel Arslan Haleem was martyred while working on the Turbat-Mand project.
Rakhni-Barkhan Road: The 73 km project was ended by mutual consent on July 5 2024 due to severe funding shortfalls and cost escalation. It was later awarded to preferred contractors, yet it remains unfinished today.
Jhal Jhao-Awaran Road: FWO was never assigned this project, making attempts to blame them for its delay completely baseless.
N-25 Highway: FWO has shown strong progress across 524 km, with its performance on the Khuzdar-Kalat stretch specifically commended by the Ministry of Communications.
