bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckg3… To say I find this incomprehensible is an understatement and need some space to think about a concise response. This weekend, my thoughts will lie firmly with the families & friends impacted and whose lives will never be the same.

Regulation of the funeral sector goodfuneralguide.co.uk/2026/… In light of the crimes perpetrated by Robert Bush who is in court this week for sentencing, immediately after news broke in March 2026, the GFG grouped together amazing funeral directors to write documents and proposals

That it could be put in place almost overnight. Every single person who helped create this had every single family member and friend impacted by Legacy Funerals at the forefront of our minds. We created something that, should it have been in place, this may never have happened

It is my deep hope that families and friends get the justice they deserve and the judge throws the book at him. As a funeral professional, my hope is that this framework is used so it can never happen again. #robertbush #legacyfunerals #funeralregulation #justiceforfamilies

I am genuinely sad to read this today. It was a pleasure to work with Frank to improve funeral pricing transparency throughout the UK. What impressed me most, was his genuine drive to do right and give a voice to the voiceless. What a huge loss for us all.

I’ve had to stop watching the #covidenquiryuk The complete ineptitude from the PM treating the elderly as disposable and acting like a petulant child today is just making me unfathomably angry.

“They’ve had a good innings.” @BorisJohnson’s casual contempt for Covid’s most vulnerable victims - care home residents, the elderly, disabled & immunosuppressed - is the most disgusting aspect of his pandemic response. As a frontline palliative care doctor, it repulses me.

Absolutely everyone needs to listen to this.
My response as a palliative care doctor to @MattHancock’s monumentally ignorant desire to play God during Covid.

It was 10 years ago today that I got the keys to my office and what an unbelievable decade it has been. I’ll forever be grateful to my clients who knew they would be safe in my hands and to my amazing family and friends for being my cheerleaders. Here’s to another 10!

‘Leaving drinks were essential for work purposes,’ says Boris Johnson during the worst of the pandemic and breaking every rule the majority lived by. That was to stay at home, social distancing, wear a mask. When the pandemic broke, I made a Will on my 38th birthday.

Today we expect to hear the government outline their plans for “learning to live with covid”, which include removing the legal obligation to isolate, removing free community testing and (potentially) scrapping the ONS infection survey. Here’s why I think this is a bad idea: 1/20

So, so proud of @FranFD1 for being able to speak so eloquently and with such dignity given the circumstances. This government has a lot to answer for.
“I spent the last year and a half grieving for the man who I loved. He’s dead. And they partied.” Message to Conservative MP @joymorrissey from Fran Hall outside Tory HQ

Reported Covid deaths are always artificially higher on a Tuesday. But still - another 439 deaths reported today. How - *how* - has dying on this scale from a single disease been so utterly normalised & ignored?

Dear @BorisJohnson this is what ‘leading by example’ actually looks like.
