America's most underestimated governor is Kathy Hochul. She didn't just whoop Bruce Blakeman. She humiliated him, notching a win in his very own Nassau County. She flipped it from red to blue. Neighboring Suffolk County, too! Long Island is purple again! #NYGOV
We need to be VERY clear about something - @KathyHochul didn’t just WIN reelection-she destroyed her opponent! She tripled her margin from ‘22 - beating Blakeman by nearly 20 points!Again, let me say-underestimate Gov. Kathy Hochul at your own RISK! #NYS #GOVERNOR #MomGov

I’m shocked that a bunch of unemployable idiots hanging out in the Bellmore LIRR parking lot weren’t able to push Blakeman over the finish line

We don’t know what the cause of this is, but remember boards of election in New York are bipartisan led and are occasionally patronage redoubts

The voting machine situation in Westchester is bad for Dems. Part of the county is in the GOP-held NY-17, but it's the more heavily Dem portion the party needs high turnout in if they hope to win. Also bad for Hochul. Westchester is the only suburb she won last time.
