This is still Broadview, Illinois, outside the ICE Service Staging Area at 1930 Beach Street. On Saturday, September 19, around 2:30 p.m., village spokesperson David Ormsby said federal agents sprayed 10 people after the crowd staged in the street and blocked agents from entering and exiting. Two went to the hospital. The rest refused transport.
Handheld OC is one tool. Federal agents in the Chicago area have also used longer-range pepper-ball and less-lethal launchers, the kind that look like paintball guns or compressed-air rifles, not a cute little keychain spray. Bring back the shotgun pepper cannon. Who else misses seeing it in action against these rioters?
Rioting means you get cleared. Peaceful speech does not include blocking a federal driveway, nor does it mean you can ignore federal agents telling you to back away.

Watch several rioters get maced outside the ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois. This is the Broadview Service Staging Area at 1930 Beach Street, the short-term ICE Chicago Field Office processing site west of downtown Chicago.
On Saturday, September 19, around 2:30 p.m., village spokesperson David Ormsby said federal agents sprayed 10 people after protesters admitted they were staging in the street and blocking agents from entering and exiting the property. Broadview Fire EMS treated them on scene. Two were taken to a hospital, the rest refused transport, and none of them live in Broadview.
The moment a protest becomes a riot is the moment you are no longer within your legal constitutional rights. Want to ignore federal agent commands to get off federal property? Do not cry when you eat a can full of pepper spray.

Charlie was wearing a Rode wireless mic and transmitter that we believe was rigged with a PETN explosive. Radio and explosives are exactly why you would need shoes like these, so you do not accidentally set it off. Now the shoes on the men around him match the same problem set.
Ask them the question in public. Why ESD on a grass quad. Who issued the shoes. Were these the standard Harpole/Flood kit at every event, or was this yet another one-day change. If it is nothing, say so. If they stay quiet, the circle on the heel stays on the record.
