It’s a bit brutal but BTC is probably going to be the big winner of the AI revolution. I don’t think it will suffer any hacks, the scripting language formal verification is very advanced and work in formalizing the protocol too. Nodes running on different hardware make it very robust against hardware vulnerabilities, and their sources are probably one of the most audited code in the world. Combine that with self sovereignty which protects against political backslash from K shaped economy and acceleration of margins flowing to capital, I don’t see much else. To be honest this is my macro view but it’s a pretty grim one.

Hype traders lose $1.2B a year
Pump fun revenue $0.5B
Louis V shoppers drop $90B a year
Hating excess at these minuscule levels is a failure of imagination about the great transition from physical to digital bags

This is something I need to tell myself, too. Cause being patient is really hard
the more frequently you trade, the higher the chance of losing money
You might want something fancy and special, but in the end, the right answer is the simple, steady path that everyone already knows

Mert says Justin Drake's bunker mode post was "completely uncalled for" and almost certainly makes everything worse
“It’s hard to get in the mind of an ETH holder. Let’s steelman this. Let’s say he’s genuinely concerned about fundamental breakthroughs and he just wants us to be ready. Obviously, I think that is valid, but I would say that as a leader in this space, you definitely have a responsibility to explain to people both sides of the equation, which is to say, any new technology since the beginning of time can be pointed to as good or bad”
“AI is pointed to as this weird technology of destruction that can never do anything good”
“I think saying something like ‘we need to go to bunker mode’ is just completely uncalled for, and it almost certainly makes everything even worse”

Definitely contrarian, but constructive on PUMP at these levels.
Hard to condense the thesis, but with a deeply entrenched business (revenue in SOL at ATHs) + a consumer layer up 5.6x, while buying back 17% of circ supply a year with muted insider sales, PUMP is cheap at 2.8x sales.
IMO it's a highly reflexive asset too few people are positioned for if we get another period of prolonged risk-on (pre Pons/Stonk it was leading the market).
To illustrate, because Pump has since added PumpSwap and the consumer layer, a return to ATH launchpad activity puts Pump at $280M/month.

You don’t fully grasp how much of your life is tracked until you’re sitting in a courtroom, watching federal prosecutors use your digital history against you, down to your most harmless Google searches. Your entire life becomes an open book, and even your most innocent actions can be twisted into something sinister.
They get to tell the most damning version of your story. To tell yours in your own words, you have to take the stand.
Jez says crypto gives you one perfect trade every 3–4 months and you should hit it as hard as possible
“Outside of liquidity constraints or counterparty risk, there’s no reason to put money behind your second-best idea.”
“I’ve seen far more concentrated portfolios make it than diversified portfolios. Crypto gives you a softball every three or four months you just have to wait and hit it as hard as you can.”
“If you were only allowed to press buy once all year, would you buy right now? That’s the constraint traders should use.”
I don't think this is as bullish as some people think
"Hyperliquid Labs is in talks with Kraken parent Payward to bring crypto perpetual futures to U.S. traders through the regulated Bitnomial exchange" lol
and in the past few days I've been thinking who's buying HYPE up here at 80 bil FDV (yes I know FDV is kind of a meme), ETFs haven't shown much interest in passive buying (only aping tops), PURR dat aping 9 figs here but not really moving price like in May, Trump endorsing Hyperliquid now so how early are you? And then the charts, both hyperliquid:native and $PURR have weekly bear divs, last time this happened was in September 2025 that lead to a -65% drop
