Anyone can apply to be a Leeds street angel (age 18+). If you'd like to have a totally different Friday night out, just contact Katie on [email protected] to arrange to have a chat and join us on patrol to see what it's like with wings on!
We had 2 new Angels out with us for the first time last night. Within 15 minutes Anna and Caroline had dived in offering care for a young lady who had 1 (or 2) too many Espresso Martinis.
They loved being out on patrol - "I feel like I've been on a night out" said Anna at 4am.

Our angels will be on patrol until the small hours again tonight. It's getting chilly out there, so take care of each other on your nights out and stick together. See you later Leeds!
We are in the Leeds University newspaper - thank you Emily for this great write up. It was fab to have you on patrol with us. @TheGryphonLeeds thegryphon.co.uk/2021/11/16/…
A busy weekend for our angels Mollie, Will, Keith, Helen and Ian, looking after those who were unwell and unstable on their feet. Great to be joined by journalism student Emily and lovely to reconnect with other volunteers and workers in the city.

The awesome @LdsStreetAngels are out in the city again this evening (payday Saturday!) from 10pm til 3am, providing compassionate support to anyone who’s become at risk during a night out in the city - say hello if you see these incredible volunteers ❤️ #BeSafeFeelSafe #Leeds – at Leeds, England
Happy to bring you the news that our team of angels will be out in Leeds tonight from 10pm until late, looking after those who need our support. Take care of your mates this weekend!
We're delighted to let you know we've appointed a new Leeds Street Angels co-ordinator - Ian. He'll be taking over from Katie who after seven brilliant years of leadership has stepped down to continue her studies. Thank you Katie and welcome Ian!

If you're out tonight please drink responsibly, and look after your friends.
This #VolunteersWeek we want to thank all the Leeds street angels who have gladly given up their night's sleep to keep other people safe in our city's nightlife. So many volunteers are part of our story, thank you all!
Great photo, thanks. We're really happy to be back out there too!

Big thank you to @stmattsleeds and @LdsStreetAngels for been part of @thykingdom_come Prayer Lunch. Good to be able to pray for the night time economy and for the work Street Angel's are doing there as well as the wellbeing of our city as #Coronavirus restrictions ease.
Sadly we've had to suspend our patrols due to lack of funds, but we're passionate about keeping people safe in the Leeds nightlife and we'll be back as soon as we can. We're seeking funding and have a crowdfunder here if you'd like to support us. gofund.me/04f1ee48
Thank you in advance for praying for us and all the others who serve our city centre.
This Thursday 13th May, 12:30 - 13:30.
@thykingdom_come Prayer Lunch hosted by @stmattsleeds.
We are looking forward to praying for the wellbeing of the city as Covid restriction ease and for the night time economy as we hear from @LdsStreetAngels.

Leeds Street Angels exists to help keep people safe from harm in Leeds city centre. Our volunteers stick by people who've ended up alone, intoxicated, unwell, or potentially vulnerable on their night out. We help them get home or to a place of safety... (1/2)
...but the future of our project is becoming uncertain because we're low on funds. If anyone knows of grants we could apply for, or if you feel able to contribute to our crowdfunder we'd be really grateful. Thank you! gofund.me/04f1ee48 (2/2)
