His name is not "Yeshua." No Christian is in the historic record calling Him "Yeshua" - not a single time.
The practice did not start until a Hebraist named Franz Delitzsch in 1877. It was not popularized until the Judaizing Hebrew Roots / Messianic cult developed in the 1960s, thanks to Nostra Aetate. It's a 20th-century trend, not a historic reality.
His name is Ἰησοῦς. That's what He is referred to in the inspired Word of God more than 90 times.
That's what the angel named Him in the gospel of Matthew, an author who used the original Aramaic when quoting someone speaking Aramaic (like Jesus). Yet the angel named Him ησοῦς; despite that name being above ALL names and the most IMPORTANT name in the history of mankind, Matthew did not use Aramaic or Hebrew because Jesus' name is Greek, as the angel divinely named Him.
Jesus' brothers had Greek names. Jesus' disciples' names were Greek. Most babies in 1st-century Galilee had Greek names, a verifiable fact. They lived in Greek culture.
They spoke Aramaic, but also Greek - including Christ, according to conversations he held in the gospels. It was the language of business, diplomacy, government, and commerce. And Jesus came to be a global Gentile Messiah. Greek is what was appropriate for the one who *referred to Himself* as the "Son of Man" 70 times and not "the King of the Jews," even once.
Jesus' Bible was Greek. When He taught from the synagogue in the gospel of Luke, it was Greek. Every single time Jesus quotes the Bible, it's the LXX, the Greek Septuagint, and NOT the Hebrew Bible.
Precisely zero people spoke conversant Hebrew in the first century, with the language dying except for its liturgical vocabulary centuries before.
"But Jesus means Yeshua in Hebrew."
First, I'll point out it's irrelevant what it was in Hebrew when nobody spoke Hebrew. Secondly, I'll point out that's a dumb myth.
In fact, six Hebrew names transliterate to "Jesus" in Greek. But that doesn't mean it works in reverse. There is no reason to say His name was "Yeshua," any more than one of those other five Hebrew names. The first people to suggest this were medieval Rabbis, mid-insult. They might as well have picked one of those names at random.
We don't let godless pagans like Rabbis dictate the name of the Son of God. The Bible does that.
That's because there's no way to tell which of those names it would be, if it were indeed a Hebrew name. ZERO accounts in antiquity call Him Yeshua or any other Hebrew name.
Every account of our Lord written in antiquity used Greek. Every. Single. One.
The Bible expressly forbids Jewish myths (Titus 1:14). This is one. And Christians referring to Him as "Yeshua" are proving they've not done the work to separate myth from historical fact.
Hebrew is not some magical heavenly tongue that carries mystical powers. God saw fit to destroy it, along with their Temple and genealogy records, and records the New Testament in the vastly superior language of Greek, which far better articulates meanings precisely.
And thank God, He chose to preserve the Old Testament in Greek, too. God literally replaced the Hebrew with something better, and it's been dead since, never to be resurrected.
The reason "Yeshua" is pushed upon evangelicals is to draw emotional sympathy to Israel. It's Judaizing by it's very nature. The problem is, they dont' speak Hebrew in Israel.
They speak a 20th-century-invented pig-latin garbage tongue, a committee language, fundamentally European in syntax, with a tiny liturgical Hebrew vocabulary, supplemented by Aramaic and Arabic, along with European vocabulary including Russian and other Eastern European tongues, like Yiddish.
Enough with the Hebrew crap.

I don’t even know which one this is, but it’s one of the strongest ones I’ve had in a long long time. The desperation in his voice. You can see the sight of his kids in his eyes when he says he’s supposed to be home with them. You can see the math he’s doing in his head as he calculates how much money he has left, and how much he needs for his mortgage, and when it’s due.
What the hell is the American dream anymore? Is this what it’s about? Is there anyone who would say this guy isn’t working his ass off? For what? So that 25% of his income can go to a government that wastes it on a bunch of shit he didn’t vote for? Subsidizing the food he stocks grocery stores with for people who don’t work a 1,000th of how hard he works to buy groceries with EBT cards that he pays for, which then drives up the cost of groceries for him and his family that he pays for out of his paycheck because he’s doing it the right way.
This entire system is shit. It’s shit. There is no nicer way to put it. It is dog. shit.
This guy should be working a 9-5 at a job that gives him dignity so that he can be at home with his kids at a decent time. Instead he’s some jerk off’s content. His stressed out, end of his rope reaction is some asshole’s income.

I have asked people to point me to a resource that gives a robust defense of Christian Nationalism from Scripture.
I have not yet seen a source that even attempts this.
If you have one please link or reference it below. But, because I know many will have lots to share and much of it may not be anything I asked for, please note in your comment if your resource is...
1. A defense of Christian Nationalism from the text of Scripture and not from broad principles narrowly applied. This is all I am asking for. Appealing to history or the reformers will be uninteresting to me unless they are a source which does the very thing I am requesting (I mean, sure, it's interesting, but not in relation to this request).
2. A ROBUST defense such that actual analysis of passages is thorough enough to establish BOTH interpretation and application into Christian Nationalism.
3. A clear enough version of Christian Nationalism that it isn't indistinguishable from what every Christian already thinks. For example, defining CN as "Jesus is Lord" is unhelpful in much the same way as defining macaroni and cheese merely as "food" is unhelpful. A good apologetic for the view being biblical would need to defend a particular view and not something so broad that one has only defended principles that just as could easily be extrapolated into opposing views.
I genuinely would not only submit to CN but would openly and publicly advocate for it if someone can show it is solidly biblical.

Every proposition of revealed theology is grounded in Scripture. "Christ is Lord" is grounded in Scripture.
But if your audience already accepts these propositions, you don't need to prove them. You can simply assume them in your argument.
My guess is that Winger doesn't prove "The Bible is infallible" every time he makes a biblical argument, because his audience typically affirms that.
When you and your audience agree on a set of propositions, you can then proceed with a logical argument using them. That's what I did.

Without post-70 AD, rabbinic Judaism, the Protestant church does not have a Bible.
First, the manuscript tradition that all of our modern translations are based on is the Masoretic text. The Masoretes were the rabbis that followed after the Tannaim and the Amoraim. They worked from the 7th to the 10thcentury AD and their main focus was the preserving of the Hebrew text of the Old Testament and developing the vowel and accent system that we use today when we read the Hebrew text. Delete the work of the Masoretes and you delete the text that we use for our Old Testament. No rabbis, no Bible.
Second, the Protestant recovery of the ability to read the Old Testament in the original Hebrew language was made possible by relying on the work of late medieval rabbis, primarily the grammarians, along with the assistance of 16thcentury Jews who either were willing to teach Hebrew to their Christian neighbors or who actually converted to the Christian faith themselves and brought their rabbinic knowledge of the Hebrew text with them. For instance, in the early thirteenth century, David Kimhi composed the Miklohl, a basic grammar of the Hebrew language, and the Hashorashim, a Hebrew dictionary. When sixteenth century Christians began returning to the Hebrew language, these texts provided their entrance into Hebrew fluency.
Additionally, the grammarians produced a series of commentaries on the text of the Old Testament, commentaries which developed something very similar to what we now refer to as the historical-grammatical method. These commentaries served as tutors to early protestant exegetes, trying to make their way through the Hebrew text for the first time. For instance, from 1517-1519, the Christian publisher Daniel Bomberg, working in Venice, published what we now refer to as the Bomberg Rabbinic Bible. It contained the Masoretic text of the Old Testament, surrounded by the corresponding Targum (Aramaic translation/interpretation of the Hebrew text), and commentaries by grammarians such as Rashi, Kimhi, Ibn Ezra, etc.
Bomberg’s Rabbinic Bible became an essential tool in the libraries of Reformed exegetes. If you have spent any time in Bucer’s commentary on the Psalms, you know how heavily he relied on Bomberg’s sources for his own understanding of the text. What is harder to notice, but which is equally true, is how much weight Calvin himself gave to these sources. At one point Calvin singles out Kimhi as the best of the Jewish exegetes. This reliance on the assistance of the grammarians permeates the works of sixteenth and seventeenth century, Protestant exegesis. Delete the Rabbis, and you delete the Protestant ability to read and translate the Hebrew text.
This reliance on Jewish sources was not without its pitfalls. The anti-trinitarian controversies that plagued the Reformed church in the 16th century were largely a result of Protestant reliance on Jewish commentaries. For instance, Kimhi’s commentary on the Psalms included critiques of the Christian reading of the messianic Psalms. Some young exegetes were not ready to go up against Kimhi’s work and found themselves succumbing to heterodox views on the deity of Christ, etc.
Nevertheless, the vast majority of the Reformed church figured out how to make good use of Jewish sources without losing their minds. For instance, it is not a coincidence that many of the contributors to the formation of the Reformed political tradition, men like Franciscus Junius and John Selden, were also great Hebraists, steeped deeply in the works of medieval rabbis. They drew from that tradition for much of their work. There were movements to burn all the Jewish sources that rose up at various moments, but these movements were primarily driven by the Papists, not the Reformed, who generally opposed this mania.
To repeat my opening claim - without post-70 AD, rabbinic Judaism, the Protestant church does not have a Bible. The Jews were still wrong about Jesus. But without them, you don’t have Bible.
