I had hoped to return to Israel and vote. But the many threats I received from Israelis and requests from Palestinians not to normalize a system that oppresses them have changed my mind. Israel is not my home anymore. I do not want to spend my money there so they can use it for genocide. The entire system is illegitimate and must be destroyed. I have refunded the money I contributed and will not return there again. Not until Palestine is liberated.
This ideology is widely adopted, this needs to be recognized. Canadians are naive because so many of them believe it is okay to be subject to this sort of treatment on the basis that those perpetrating it are a 'minority.' But all abusers are a minority. That does not make abuse okay.
And then there is the genetic and spatial-material fiction that the recent production, in decades (enough for it to be part of multiple generations upbringing), of an identity of "indigeniety" and "nativity" (appropriation of Western concepts self-applied to their own intrinsic inhabitation and origin in North America, a resolution native to their own relations and representations) creates any form of physical, material, or historical relationship to land, or of the land to the abuser/invader.
But the very purpose of the myth, the projection of territorial imaginaries (prospective colonization interest ranges) and other superimpositions in any direction, at any distance, onto the pre-existing and materially unrelated contiguous and continous land area of the planet's surface, is for successive, newcoming offshoots in those brief lifespan trajectories, to be able to justify a set of invasions (i.e., all invasions consist of micro-level interactions relative to some subject, a subject which is to be displaced, deprived, intercepted or eliminated at the scale of their body and real material relations).
Just saying "their", i.e., attaching a possessory pronoun (perception of relational supremacy) and adding "back" (constructed perception of precedence) does not make it their land because it observably is not so, they do not inhabit it.
They are not there, they were never there, they have no permanent anthropogenic use/occupancy of that land area that justifies relational supremacy of their newcoming migratory incursions, as newcomers in existence entirely, of mixed migratory origins (all have European-Siberian ancestry).
That is land is endogenous land, and prior public land. Always was, always will be, across hundreds of millions of years, and centuries of actual first political-territorial history of Canada.
That's the fundamental problem with territorial-colonialism (the original contradiction) and the assumption of supremacy of an in-group migratory colonization trajectory. It's not your land.
You purposefully, like all settlers, try to project yourself onto land area you are alien, exogenous and foreign to. That's true story of the recent invention of "indigenous" people. A story of foreign invaders who to this day are attempting to violently occupy and impose alien domination and expropriation over other people’s land (all land) while constantly attempting to exploit evolving local peoples/populations.
Just having a copy of genes, from extinct migrants, who were relatively closer, by virtue of migrating, is not the same thing as any form of absolute inhabitation, interaction or real-material anthropogenic use/occopancy.
There was not even a concept of absentee psychosocial 'ownership' or 'territory' or 'jurisdiction' or 'sovereignty' among extinct-generations of hunter-colonies (which are not the same as future settlers of mixed-migratory origin, and mostly Western cultural origin, with the concept of land ownership and 'natural resources' being of Western origin).

Canada should do away with this recently invented hunter racial-ancestry clown circus, it always was and always will be a narrative fiction, a myth.
Canada has appropriate laws in place to deal with violent settlers of a pseudoscientic, ahistorical, tribalistic-racial fantasy ideology ("First Nations") that engage in exogenous migratory incursions into lands to which they are alien and exogenous (of no material history or relationship).
Just use the laws already on the books.
Any 'Indian problem' can easily be addressed as it was historically, through rejection of the assumption of the supremacy of the nomadic hunter-colonist and their wandering incursions, invasions, and expropriations.
We reject the supremacy of their adventure from Siberia (and Europe, as they are mixed far-removed offshoots), just as I also reject that of Arabs from Arabia.
Equality only feels like “supremacy” when you are accustomed to privilege and power.

I’m from Lebanon. This is not occurring. Most Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria (West Bank) are Mizrahi Israeli communities (single citizenship).
American-Israelis largely live in Israel.
