just crossed $100k in payouts AFTER EXPENSES for the month, my biggest month since like Jan or Feb 🙏🏽
summer was tough for me, basically just breaking even for months. taking a step back, sizing down, & slowing down helped me get back on the right track. i’ve traded less this month than i have all year & probably made the most money with the least amount of stress.
sometimes we get so caught up in trying to have our biggest month every month. & especially as i’m still a newly profitable trader (2 years) i always seemed to feel the pressure of making more than the previous month.
trading is a long game though, and every trader goes through periods of ups and downs. the important thing is staying in the game and giving yourself the chance to be ready when your edge shows itself 💭

stare at a blank wall
walk without podcast/music
no phone until all tasks are ticked off
sit with ur own thoughts till it gets loud
then louder
then peaceful
eat without any stimulation
shower in silence
drive with the radio off
sit in a cafe and just ppl watch
take the long way home
lie on the floor and do nothing
no scrolling before bed
staregaze
watch the rain fall
stand outside at night and listen to the streets
write one page on who u want to become with no prompt
delete all brain taxing apps
sit calmly through the urge to do something
rawdog trips with no entertainment
chill under an apple tree (iykyk)
when working, listen to binaural beats on low to medium volume
go on adventures
meditate
that's where the best of the best ideas live btw

This ORB strategy was built on RoboQuant for NinjaTrader
Logic is simple: waits for the opening range to form, then enters in the direction of the overnight gap with a 200 EMA filter
Backtested Jan 2024 to Jul 2026:
+$133,310 net profit
30% win rate with 2.81 avg win/loss ratio
1.22 profit factor
$37,930 max drawdown
Quite a decent call 1 year ago
If I had $1M in crypto now, I would:
1. Be full-time crypto
2. Move to a city where cost of living is not too expensive
3. No memecoins, no leverage. Ever.
4. Allocate $500k stablecoins in DeFi at 5-7% to cover my expenses that I NEVER touch
5. Allocate $250k to farm @tradexyz: volume is still low and upside looks big to me as on-chain tradfi is just emerging
6. Allocate $50k into a sybil farm with 200-500 wallets and forcing myself to spend 2h/day doing things + automating + hunting new opportunities
7. Keep 200k USDC/USDT on Aave ready to ape good coins such as $HYPE or $PUMP during bloody days when people are being liquidated
The goal: survive long enough to catch asymmetric bets while never worrying about paying bills.

In 2027, stop rushing to get rich trading.
Start small while you learn
Stick to one model until you master it
Get consistent with $100 days
Then scale only when you're ready.

If trading is exciting every single day, you're probably doing too much.
Some mornings I'll watch NQ for hours and never take a trade.
Other days my IFVG shows up, I take the entry and I'm done.
That's literally the job.
If you need constant excitement, the market will make you pay for it.

Give trading 6 months of your full effort.
Backtest your model, journal your trades and actually stick to your rules.
Worst case, you learn a skill and figure out what needs improving.
Best case, those 6 months become the start of a completely different life for you and your family.

Trading is crazy when you think about it.
You can spend years losing money and wondering if you'll ever figure it out.
Then things slowly start clicking.
You stop forcing trades.
You actually wait for your setup.
You take the same IFVG entries you've backtested hundreds of times.
And suddenly a few good weeks can make back months of losses.
The hardest part is staying in the game long enough to get there.
Don't rush it.

I made a new all-time high on my portfolio on the 28th of September and since then have struggled to get anything really going.
At the peak I had tens of thousands of dollars pending performance fees. Over the past couple of weeks those fees, day by day, have been diminished and diminished.
We have to forget all that. It is literally a game of patience.
