Hello my Orthodox friends. ☦️❤️
I want to share a recipe with you all. It’s great for a fast dinner, when oil is permitted.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb dried angel hair spaghetti
3 TBSP margarine, divided
1 TBSP olive oil
1 lb mushrooms, sliced
salt (to taste)
black pepper (to taste)
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 TBSP Sun Dried Tomatoes
1 bag baby spinach
red pepper flakes (optional-to taste)
1 cup grated vegan parm cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, 7 to 9 minutes or according to package instructions. Meanwhile, cook mushrooms 🍄🟫
Heat 1 tablespoon of the margarine and the oil in a large skillet over medium heat until melted.
Add the mushrooms 🍄🟫 season with salt and pepper, and sauté until browned and tender, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic 🧄 , sun dried tomatoes 🍅 spinach and red pepper flakes if using, and remaining 2 tablespoons margarine and sauté for 1 minute more.
When the pasta is ready, reserve 3/4 cup of the cooking water then drain the pasta. Add the pasta, reserved cooking water, and vegan parm to the skillet. Toss over medium heat until melted and the sauce thickens and coats the pasta, about 2 minutes.

A 35-year-old man who received three Pfizer mRNA shots, two of them from “E batches.”
Within a few months, the man developed a heart tumor that doubled in size EVERY 10 DAYS.
When surgeons removed the tumor, it measured 9 x 7 x 5 centimeters, nearly the size of a baseball.
This is unheard of. It usually takes more than 900 days for a sarcoma to grow that big. This one was found just 170 days after his first shot.
The tumor had fragments of Pfizer’s spike DNA all over it.

Here are some things in the insert not on the store's sheet:
1. The single dose vial contains mercury at ≤1mcg (This is called a "trace amount" by the industry.) The multi-vial contains 25 mcg.
2. People with egg allergies are contraindicated.
3. "Safety and effectiveness have not been established in pregnant women, nursing mothers and children under four. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant women. This vaccine should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. It is not known whether fluvarin is excreted in human milk."
4. "Fluvarin has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility."
5. "Antibody response is low in the geriatric population."
6. "Serious reactions, including anaphylactic shock, have been observed."
7. "There are no data to assess the concomitant administration of flu vaccine with other vaccines."
8. "The vaccine has been associated with an increased frequency of Guillain-Barre syndrome."
9. "In some studies, fluvarin protected up to 50% of subjects."

If something happened to your child in a public restroom, would they know what to do?
We teach kids how to USE the bathroom, but we also need to teach them how to stay safe in one.
Check your surroundings. Use a stall that locks. Go with a buddy when possible. If something feels wrong, LEAVE.
And if someone approaches you inappropriately, forget being polite. GET LOUD. Make noise. Get out and find a trusted adult.
An adult stranger should never need a child to follow them or help them privately in a restroom.
These conversations may feel small until the day they matter.

☦️ SAINTS OF THE DAY — SEPTEMBER 17
Today the Orthodox Church honors Martyr Sophia and her daughters: Faith, Hope, and Love.
In Rome during Emperor Hadrian’s reign, Sophia raised her daughters in devotion to Christ. Their names reflected the virtues she planted within them. When the family was brought before the emperor, the girls boldly confessed Christ and refused to worship idols.
Faith, aged twelve; Hope, aged ten; and Love, aged nine were cruelly tortured and beheaded while their mother was forced to witness their suffering. Yet neither threats nor agony could separate them from Christ. Sophia buried her daughters and remained beside their grave in prayer until she peacefully gave her soul to God three days later.
Their witness reminds us that Christian faith is more than words. Faith remains steadfast, hope looks beyond present suffering, and love gives everything for Christ. Saint Sophia reveals the strength of a mother who forms her children in holiness and entrusts them to God.

Turmeric Chicken Anti-Inflammatory Soup
🛒 Ingredients
1/4 cup olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
1 large leek, white and light green parts, halved and thinly sliced
3 large carrots, thinly sliced
3 stalks celery, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
6 cups chicken broth
1 (13.5 oz) can coconut milk
1 1/4 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
1 (10 oz) bag frozen peas (optional)
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon kosher salt, or to taste
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
👩🍳 Instructions (Detailed & Expanded)
1️⃣ Build the aromatic base
Heat the olive oil in a large, heavy-bottomed soup pot over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the diced onion, sliced leeks, carrots, and celery. Season with about 1 teaspoon of kosher salt.
Sauté slowly for 14–16 minutes, stirring often. The goal here is to soften the vegetables deeply without browning them, allowing their natural sweetness to emerge. The leeks should become silky and fragrant, creating a mellow, comforting foundation for the soup.
2️⃣ Add garlic and anti-inflammatory spices
Stir in the chopped garlic, turmeric, and poultry seasoning. Continue cooking the mixture for 2–3 minutes.
As the turmeric warms in the oil, it releases its earthy aroma and signature golden color, coating the vegetables in a vibrant, health-boosting layer that forms the soul of this soup.
3️⃣ Add the broth, coconut milk, and chicken
Pour in the chicken broth and coconut milk, stirring to combine. The broth will take on a warm golden hue, while the coconut milk adds a creamy richness that balances the spices beautifully.
Nestle the raw chicken thighs or breasts into the pot, making sure they are fully submerged. Partially cover the pot and bring the soup to a gentle simmer.
Allow the chicken to cook undisturbed for 15–20 minutes, or until tender and fully cooked through.
4️⃣ Shred the chicken and finish the soup
Remove the cooked chicken from the pot and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the simmering soup.
If using peas, add them now — their bright green color will contrast beautifully with the golden broth. Stir in the chopped fresh parsley and let the soup simmer a few minutes more until the peas are heated through and vibrant.
5️⃣ Adjust seasoning & serve
Taste and adjust with more salt and pepper as needed.
Ladle the soup into warm bowls and garnish with extra parsley. Serve with crusty bread, warm naan, or steamed rice for a complete, soothing meal.
