How and why does it cost this much 😕 The Warrior games in the US costs 2 million. Why not give the money directly to the veterans? Life changing
Apparently the UK Government has pledged the initial £26 million for the Birmingham Invictus Games but from what I read, sports marketing analysts project the true operating cost for the Birmingham IG event sits between £30 million and £60 million 😮
Given there isn't (and wont be) any British family royal endorsement, it will cause a further commercial dead end for attracting sponsons to the Invictus Games. The organisers will be scrambling and the British Military will have to rethink how they will take part.
Major sponsors who have stopped or reduced support for the Birmingham Invictus Games so far:
- Boeing has already pulled out and they were a massive sponsor
- Netflix has reduced their sponsorship money
- BetterUp has also reduced their sponsorship money
Who is going to be next to pull out of the Invictus Games now that King Charles has distanced himself from Harry's 'private citizen' grifting?
Already many veterans are threatening to not to go and this may cause more to boycott too.
No money for pensioners though
So I've just learned Migrant Help, a charity assisting foreigners with asylum claims, housing issues and benefits here in the UK, is being funded to the tune of £235 million a year, soon rising to £385 million.
Funded by whom? Us taxpayers, courtesy of the Home Office.
This is organised treachery by our government. They have no intention of stopping the boats. None at all.
So why do they pretend?

I am a bereaved parent who found my only child hanged in his bedroom at 17. I belong to a bereaved parents' group that has helped me.
Harry and Meghan infiltrated our group for money and fame. They used us (I refused to participate). Since their antics, I have had nothing to do with my group. It disgusts me.

At the Women’s Policy Centre, we strongly oppose the decision of the Archbishop of Canterbury @ArchbishopSarah to award a man who subjects his wife to abuse by concealing her identity in such a barbaric manner. No religion can permit anyone to deny the dignity and freedom of women. Centuries of gradual adaptation and applied theology have established gender equality in the Church of England, with a woman now holding the highest office. Yet the same woman allows a man from another religion to deny his wife the same rights. This is unacceptable. No awards should ever be given to such men in the UK. We shall not normalise the subjugation of women, for any reason, whatever the religion.
