'WHAT A PERFECT ENDING TO A HISTORIC DAY!"
A game-winner to cap a 50-point, 16-rebound, 10-assist night AND his record-breaking 42nd triple-double, which passed Oscar Robertson for the single-season record 🤯
April 9, 2017 was SPECIAL. Congrats on an amazing 18-year NBA career, Russ!

Russell Westbrook’s time with the Wizards was brief but unforgettable. He set the triple-doubles record and his second half that year was as high a peak as any player I’ve seen don the uniform. Just insane numbers. 26.3 ppg, 16.1 apg and 13.8 rpg in May to will the Wizards to the playoffs. Only player in franchise history to have a 25+ pts and 20+ ast game and he did it twice in six weeks. Hat tip to a great career.

When filming THE GOLDEN GIRLS, Betty White would often improv her St. Olaf stories, causing Bea Arthur and Rue McClanahan to completely break character. During this taping you can actually see Bea looking off at the director because she knows she's going to lose it 😂

I want everyone to know my deep sense of gratitude to Josh Harris and the entire Burgundy and Gold organization for this honor. But this recognition is not for me alone.
It should be shared with my forever teammates, coaches, and ultimately YOU, the fans.
You and I are forever tied to 44
You gave me breath
I gave you heart.
And I hope more laughs than tears.
