Lithos Protocol decentralizes block production, returns extra revenue to miners, and ensures all payouts stay non-custodial.
Our goal is an unstoppable network.

Don't own a rig? Renting hashrate can be quite profitable on Lithos. Use stratum.niceHashMode and read our renting documentation.

Now that we're on mining pool stats, time to get ad banners and see get some extra things placed that shows profitability clearly for people.
Lithos is weird vs a traditional pools metrics.
Nothing else exists in the same category of proof of work mining.
Just adding a $ / MH stat and we would be good.
Be a smart miner. Mine lithos.
LithosDex now supports pool creation, verification, and token/token pools.
Pools are verified manually or through genesis checks. Miners now fill LithosDex token/token orders, ErgoDEX token pool orders and Machina Finance orders.
The stratum can serve rented NiceHash hashrate behind stratum.niceHashMode.

Lithos protocol replaces trusted mining pool operators on Ergo with on chain contracts and share proofs, letting miners build their own blocks without a central party that can censor or control payouts.
This strengthens Ergo’s decentralization, which improves the base layer assumptions Rosen inherits as an Ergo centric bridge.
So @SpiderPool, a bitcoin mining pool, plans to go public in the US via a blank-check company merger at a $250M valuation
Pools combine miners hashpower and pick what goes in blocks
Fewer, bigger, Wall Street-owned pools isnt the decentralization we want for bitcoin:native

No KYC, no clearinghouse or speciality sequencer between you and the market.
No trusted operator running a mining pool, handling shares, between you and your mining rewards.
That’s what a decentralized mining stack looks like.
P2PFi is architecture not marketing.
Luxor lets you hedge Bitcoin hashrate through their platform and a regulated exchange.
Lithos lets you do it peer to peer, on chain, with no intermediary.
Two miners post a margin, pick a difficulty strike and window, and a smart contract settles the outcome automatically.
LithosDex is working on expanding the pairs a miner can trade, sequence and settle locally.
End to end. P2P power. @LithosProtocol
NiceHash makes up 15 - 30% of Ergo hashrate, most of it going to centralized pools and barely making revenue.
Lithos users can outbid every single normal miner on NiceHash due to the profitability increases they get.
The older renters get pushed out, since they don't use Lithos and can't afford the new price per hash, and it will change the rigs from pointing at centralized pools to a decentralized one.
In the current state, it is pretty close to free money vs pointing towards a pool.
NiceHash's market hasn't priced in Lithos at all.
Lithos has some batching, machina finance and lithosdex stuff done or in progress for the next release. @LithosProtocol
Most miners don't understand sequencing, which is a shame.
For a payment system that doesn't matter too much.
But in a market that makes the market.
Those are two very different things that coexist.

Large scale AI pool management + tighter rules and going to make an interesting future for miners.
Lithos is the practical alternative. No single entity to coerce.
A decentralized pool, your blocks, your proofs, contract enforced rewards.
Live on Ergo. Start with a node.
@grok estimate and then compare the probability that major proof of work mining pools versus block producers in major Proof of Stake networks start enforcing geo requirements or jurisdiction specific regulations on the blocks they produce.
A network’s security and censorship resistance depend on people who actually verify, propagate, and especially in PoW produce blocks.
When the majority of users and capital do none of that, the system’s practical properties drift toward whatever the remaining infrastructure providers and large operators decide.
We have both the tools and the p2p userbase to implement pretty much any eUTXO protocol imaginable.
A real p2p network is the base to build on.
Run the client.
