BREAKING: S&P Global revises its outlook on Meta, $META, to "negative," citing "significant uncertainty" surrounding CapEx and free operating cash flow (FOCF).
"The negative outlook reflects our expectation that the company's leverage could exceed 1.0x and FOCF could remain negative for longer than expected," S&P said.
S&P is now raising concerns about AI CapEx.

Gold -3.3% with real yields flat and breakevens up.
That’s not a rates trade. It’s investors selling hedges to raise cash.
In 2008 and 2020, gold sold off in the deleveraging phase and only bottomed once Fed liquidity arrived.
We’re not there yet.
3Q GDP comes in HOT and inflation just keeps rising. The Fed should have hiked and the long end of the yield curve should continue to rise.

Fertilizer through Hormuz has dropped to zero.
No fertilizer cargoes crossing the strait in September or October.
Before the war, about 20% of the world’s traded nitrogen fertilizer went through it, Fertilizer Daily reports.
The Gulf also supplies about half of the world’s traded sulfur.
Hear me out: urea isn’t the problem.
China raised its nitrogen exports about 47% and the US about 60%.
By the end of August urea was back to its January price, IFPRI data shows.
Sulfur is the problem.
It has more than doubled, to above $1,000 a tonne, and phosphate is up 25–30%.
You need sulfur to make phosphate fertilizer.
Mosaic has idled two Louisiana plants, and India’s fertilizer subsidy bill could pass 3 trillion rupees, against 1.71 trillion budgeted.
Oil found other ways out of the Gulf.
Sulfur hasn’t.

If Iran did not damage Qatar's LNG facilities that much, and if Hormuz energy flows are back to normal...
...why is this happening?
Physical reality is suggesting someone is lying.

🚨 SCOTT JENNINGS BROUGHT THE RECEIPTS!
A CNN panel tried to defend Abdul El-Sayed, but Jennings dropped the clip proving Abdul literally said the 2nd Amendment "only applies to muskets."
The Left can't handle the truth! Scott Jennings completely dismantled them live on air! 🇺🇸

Before she joined his team, @judyshel sent Treasury Secretary Bessent a Kwasi Kwarteng piece arguing China could be the first to relink its currency to gold.
"It shouldn't be China. It better be the United States," she told @RonStoeferle in our IGWT 2026 interview.

The WNBA would rather alienate millions of new Caitlin Clark fans than grow its audience. Now players are reportedly skipping the National Anthem during the Finals, despite league rules. Identity politics are destroying the WNBA.
Disgraceful
For the SECOND CONSECUTIVE GAME of the WNBA Finals, both the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries walked off the floor immediately before the national anthem and returned seconds after it ended.
What basketball preparation requires disappearing for the exact duration of a two-minute anthem?
The WNBA proudly promotes inclusivity, yet somehow cannot get its two championship teams to remain on the floor for the national anthem. The league even has a published rule calling for players and coaches to stand during its performance.
At what point does the league recognize that its own actions are contributing to the division and alienation of the very fans it claims to welcome?
Gold is the answer.
The problem is in the US. The explosion of national debt, rising at exponential rate. Further, exploiting Japan for years to prop up the dollar by artificially weakening the yen is reaching its limits. What's likely to happen? See rwerner.substack.com
