Tonight, I found myself thinking about the things we carry quietly. The tiredness behind a smile. The uncertainty beneath steady hands. The days when continuing was the only thing left to do. And still~ somewhere in the middle of all that, something was being built. Quietly. Piece by piece. Even when no one could see what it might become. Maybe some things don’t disappear. Maybe they wait until there is finally enough room for them to be seen. Tonight, I am learning to leave some things untouched. To let silence have its place. To leave room for another soul to find its own way through. Not everything needs an answer. Some things simply need time to remember what has been there all along. A spark beneath the ashes. A dream beneath the exhaustion. A part of someone that never stopped believing even when they had forgotten to listen. And perhaps we don’t need to reach for the light for someone else. Perhaps we can simply stand beside them as the doors begin to open. As the work takes shape. As the quiet becomes momentum. As something they carried for so long finally begins to meet the world. No need to tell them how far they’ve come. Sometimes, you simply watch the horizon widen and quietly understand~ they were never standing still. They were becoming.
