Me and @MacKenzieOfLlyr made an agreement that if I watched the first episode of Chosen that she'd make this hummus recipe, which is absolutely delicious. I watched two episodes and I'm a fan. Great cinematography and acting. I'm definitely going to finish it. Now that I've watched two episodes, you should make the tahini from scratch like I did back when I first made this recipe. Serious Eats has a good recipe for tahini as well. All together it should only take about 3-4 hours if I recall correctly. Good thing I didn't watch 3 episodes or I might have pressured you into making fresh tortillas on the same day like I did.

I've decided when I have kids I'm going to read them Plato's Dialogues when they're babies. They say every (good) parent wants to give their kids a better life than they had. Well I started reading them at 12 and that's helped me immensely in life, so if I want to help my kids I should start them even earlier. I'll have to start before they're even born. Put my head right next to my wife's belly and read The Apology out loud. I don't want her and the baby to get bored so once I get through the Dialogues and The Republic 3 times I'll move on to Aristotle's works.
