My life has been about answering the call to serve—whether as a first responder, a business leader, or State Rep. I will take that commitment to Congress to fight for secure borders, better jobs for our community, and the values that make Texas thrive.

Public safety isn’t political to the families who count on us. It’s personal.
Honored to have the trust and endorsement of our Fort Worth @MayorMattie. From standing with our firefighters and police officers to securing resources for mental health, I'm proud to be a partner Fort Worth can count on.
Early voting ends October 30. Make your plan to vote! #txlege

Deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Live Oak Councilman Aaron Dahl. We are grateful for his long tenure in service to Live Oak & Texas. Aaron was a leading voice in paving the way for the Live Oak Conference Center and Live Oak Town Center.
Praying for peace for his family during this time.

“Toyota has been an integral part of San Antonio's success for more than two decades, and this expansion is another tremendous investment in our community," said Rep. John Lujan.
“A $3.6 billion investment and 2,000 new good-paying jobs will create new opportunities for hardworking Texans, strengthen our regional economy, and further establish South San Antonio as a premier destination for advanced manufacturing. I appreciate Governor Abbott's continued commitment to keeping Texas the best state for business and congratulate Toyota on this exciting milestone.” #txlege
Great time for an even better cause!
Last week, I attended a soft launch hosted by the San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants alongside Rep. @LujanForTX. I’m thankful for the invitation and the opportunity to learn more about the important work they’re doing to preserve the history, culture, and heritage of Texas’ Mission Indian communities.
June has been a full and meaningful month. It’s been a little while since I last posted, but I wanted to take a moment to catch everyone up.
Early June marked my birthday, and just two days later, Freda and I celebrated our 42nd anniversary. I’m incredibly grateful for the life we’ve built together. Freda also surprised me with a three-day getaway. I’ll admit, I was a little grouchy at first—but it turned out to be exactly what I needed. We had a wonderful time, and I’m very thankful for her thoughtfulness.
With the elections now behind us, I’ve had time to reflect. While the outcome wasn’t what I had hoped for, I truly believe God is guiding my steps, and I’m thankful for the path He has set before me. I’m now returning to my private work, while continuing to stay engaged on several important efforts that matter deeply to our community.
I’m currently helping wrap up key projects, including work on dyslexia initiatives, the Toyota expansion, immigration concerns, a serious agriculture issue, and other local priorities.
Even with everything going on, I’ve continued meeting with community leaders and organizations, including the San Antonio Firefighters Association, Jasmin Dean with Celebrate Dyslexia School, the San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants, and others.
I’ve also been working through issues related to immigration cases, mining (sand) concerns, drone threat analysis, nuclear projects, and, as always, staying in touch with constituents.
Thank you all for your continued support, prayers, and encouragement. It means more than you know. See less
Last night didn’t go as I hoped, however, I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve as your State Representative for Texas #HD118 and to run for Congress in Texas’ new 35th District.
Representing the people from my home, and getting to know so many families across #TX35, has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Freda and I will carry those friendships, both old and new, with us into the future.
Last night, I called Carlos De La Cruz to congratulate him and encourage him as he represents us moving forward. I wish him all the best, and now we need to stand united behind him in the November election.
Our values and our community are bigger than any one campaign, and I’m committed to doing my part to help us win in November.
🚨Proud father alert! Our family took a break from the campaign trail to celebrate my son Jesse’s graduation from college. I am so proud of the Christian young man he has become. A south Texas son who is graduating from Texas A&M San Antonio.
He had a special surprise for us on his graduation cap. It says “Glory to God”, and has my logo but it also says 3%, this signifies that only 3 percent of foster children ever graduate college. The odds against foster kids are very high and many don’t make it but not my this American boy, not this Cyber Security grad, not MY son. #ProudDad #txlege #Adoption #TAMUSA @TAMUSanAntonio
I'm so grateful to have earned Schertz City Councilwoman Michelle Watson's endorsement! Councilwoman Watson has been a strong conservative voice for the people of Schertz, fighting for safe neighborhoods, responsible government, and the hardworking families who make the Schertz community great.
I am proud to have her support as our campaign continues building momentum. Together, we’re uniting conservatives to take the fight to Washington and deliver real results for #TX35!
Thank you Live Oak Mayor Mary Dennis for your endorsement!
Mayor Dennis has been a steadfast champion for the citizens and taxpayers of Live Oak, prioritizing their well-being over all else. Her leadership and commitment to responsible government have helped strengthen the Live Oak community and improve the quality of life for families across the city.
I’m honored to have her support as we continue building a coalition focused on public safety, economic growth, and delivering real results for TX-35!
Proud to have the endorsement of Texas State Senator Adam Hinojosa!
Senator @ElectAHinojosa is a strong conservative voice in the Texas Senate who understands the importance of secure borders, a strong economy, and standing up for our values. His support sends a clear message that our campaign is building the momentum needed to beat the Democrats this Fall.
We’re bringing together leaders who are ready to fight and win. Let’s keep moving forward and make #TX35 red!
Honored to have the endorsement of the Texas Municipal Police Association!
@TMPALegislative represents thousands of Texas law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. Their support is a strong vote of confidence in our campaign and our commitment to backing the men and women in blue.
In Congress, I’ll continue fighting to ensure law enforcement has the resources, training, and support they need to protect our families.
I'm proud to stand with TMPA as we work to keep our communities safe and secure.
Last week, our campaign hosted a great Meet & Greet in Stockdale at Sylvia’s Mexican Restaurant, and it meant a lot to see such strong small-town support! 🇺🇸
This campaign is about earning every vote the right way.. through real conversations, listening, and showing up. Grateful for everyone who took the time to visit with us. #LujanForCongress
Proud to have earned the support of so many Texas conservatives in this race. Thank you Governor @GregAbbott_TX for your strong endorsement of our campaign. Let's take the fight to Washington! #LujanForCongress #TX35
PACfest has become a cornerstone Fiesta event for the Southside, and it was great to be there last week with so many families enjoying everything it has to offer. From the music and food to the strong sense of community, it’s a reminder of what makes our neighborhoods special.
Dr. Garza and the team at @PACPR have built something meaningful — a celebration that supports students, highlights Southside culture, and brings people together. That’s the kind of community we should always be investing in and fighting for.
¡Viva Fiesta!
Over the weekend, Freda and I made our way to the City of Seguin's Earth Day Festival, where downtown was filled with nearly 80 vendors showcasing everything from local crafts and food to community organizations.
It was a great afternoon visiting with folks, especially the Guadalupe County Young Republicans and the Guadalupe County Republican Women! Always good to see so many people engaged and investing in their community. #LujanForCongress
Last Friday, my wife, son, and I visited @JCBmachines for an update on their progress and development timelines for their southside project.
I had the privilege of working alongside Governor Abbott’s office, the San Antonio team, and Bexar County to help bring JCB to the Southside of San Antonio - bringing hundreds of jobs to our community.
JCB is truly a game changer for #HD118 and is invested in the future of San Antonio.
Honored to have received the endorsement of the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas!
As a former Bexar County sheriff's deputy, I know for a fact that CLEAT has been a leading voice for the men and women who wear the badge in Texas, advocating for stronger public safety policies, better training and resources, and the protection of those who defend our communities.
I’m proud to stand with @CLEAT, and in Congress I will continue fighting to ensure our police officers have the support, respect, and tools they need to do their jobs effectively and safely.
